great location, some apts overlooking the harbour, numerous bars eating places along harbour, apt was great size but dated, some English tv channels, rooms were clean and bedding changed regulary, you also get free use of large swimming pool across road from complex, cannot fault for the price, short stroll up hill to town centre which is delightful, great bar called Richardsons, run by Gary makes you feel really welcome, great banter and entertainment, also best pint of Guinness in los Gigantes.

Room tip: ask for sea view

We stayed in the hotel part of the apartment - next time I would try and book from an owner as apartments were very basic! Not even a kettle or salt etc. There are a few supermarkets within walking distance but they are really expensive 3 euros for a carton of orange juice! Well worth getting a cab up to the local Dino and stocking up if you’re not getting a car.

The complex is well clean and well kept if a bit tired. It is in a great spot behind the marina and you can hear the sea wherever you are.

The complex across the road is pleasant enough, and just up the hill and round the corner is a really lovely complex with nice food place. Both overlook the sea but the higher up one has a beautiful infinity pool in nice gardens.

I found the staff to be polite and pleasant without exception, but then that’s how I was to them!

Lots of nice restaurants a stones throw away.

Get a sea view if you possibly can. We didn’t

The hotel was as expected for the price. It was a little on the tired side, including kitchen equipment, but it was clean. Location is good with the pool just across the road and next to the sea. Loved watching the waves crashing on to the seafront. Harbour, shops, restaurants and bars all in walking distance. Unfortunately my holiday was tainted when rings I inadvertently left out of the safe were taken from my room, the afternoon the cleaner came. They were my late mum’s wedding and engagement rings. I reported to reception and they could barely have been less interested. I’m heartbroken. Under the circumstances I can only leave the lowest rating which would otherwise have been a 3.

The goods:
-good service at reception;
-excellent location.

The bads:
-the apartments need renovation, a lot of wear down, even the toilet seat had marks on it;
-the pool needs renovation, the blue paint in the pool is flaking out in many places;
-very important to change windows to PVC for wind. The last 3 days of my stay there, the weather was windy, and because the isolation was bad, you had constant noises from draft between windows and doors. The very last night i couldn't sleep, then i just moved to another hotel.
-no entertainment whatsoever, by reception you get free wi-fi, and there is a room where you can watch TV, until 21:00. That's it.

Now the area around the hotel is also quite devoid of entertainment, so basically what you do is wake up, eat, go to pool, eat, take a walk, eat, sleep. If you are with your family and you follow a budget, then it's ok. If you are alone and money is not a problem, then you have nothing to do.
The beach close by is amazing, but then at just 1 meter deep is filled with rocks, and nobody tells you about it.
To sum up, renovation, entertainment and this will be good.

Room tip: If you're not satisfied the very 1st day, move to another hotel. I pushed through half of the vacation before moving.

reasonable prices.
Lots of little restaurants (breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Room tip: there are rooms with a view or withot of the rocks Los Gigantes. The price depend on view.
