We'd read the very mixed reviews when we chose to dine here and give the place the benefit of the doubt. It has such a lovely location in Los Gigantes pretty church square. But we should have thought again when we walked in the door at 9.00pm and the waiter looked at his watch and grundgingly showed us to a table. The ping of the microwave was a further hint of what was to come. I had the worst lasagne ever, which looked like it had come from a frozen food box, moments before. Dumped in the centre of a terracota dish it floated in a sea of water and fat. Despite being pretty hungy, I couldn't eat it. My husband faired a bit better with his choice of lamb cutlets but the couple we were with also treated to luke warm micro-waved fare. All in all an extremely disappointing experience with not a flicker of interest shown in why 3 out of 4 plates were returned to the kitchen virtually untouched. In the current competetive climate and with 3 great restaurants within a stones through of the place, I can't see it surviving very much longer and frankly, I don't think it deserves to. Good luck to those other restauranters, who work hard to please and secure the return business they deserve.

Dined here sitting out in the open air in a pretty square with a small church. The service was good and the food enjoyable although we found the portions too large. We felt we could have shared a main course. The restaurant has been here for many years and it deserves its good reputation.

It is a shame to call this place a restaurant, I have eaten better meals at a McDonald's drive through. Located on the square by the church of Los Gigantes, me and my boyfriend thought the surroundings were extremely nice and welcoming, and as such, the idea of the restaurant being a total disaster never crossed our mind.

We decided to order two of Asturias signature dishes, but two completely different types of meat. Therefore, it came as a surprise to us when we realized that the plates where exactly the same, exept from the meat. The same overcooked frozen vegetables with one tomato on the side, and french fries. While the vegetables seemed to have been cooked beyond regognition (it looked more like the Baby food you would get from a Nestlé glass) it seemed like the french fries were not prepared at all. They were lukewarm, so maybe they had been prepared in the microwave oven, which would explain why they had no color and tenacious like a pair of old frog legs.
The meat was as gruesome as a train wreck, and my boyfriends lamb shank were full of bone splinters.

We could not get out of there fast enough, so we paid the lousy 35EURO and went to bed.

Badly heated microwaved food. Really no taste bad service and will not be going again! Avoid! Better restaurant down the steps next to the bank. Cheap though. Like the food.

Nice location on the village square, with plenty of inside dining. Large portions of salad, and loads of canarian potatoes which we love. Meat OK, wine cheap, service fine. We ate off the a la carte, inexpensive.
They also do a 3 course meal with a glass of wine for E9, others were having that and it looked fine, though no choice.
