“Best Welcome in the port!”
Reviewed June 4, 2013

We are regular visitors to Puerto Mazzaron and always dine with Zoe at least two or three times during our stay. She provides a simple menu with three or four starters and mains and a wider selection of desserts. The food is of good quality and is well cooked. At 17 euros per head with a bottle of wine between two diners we believe that she provides good value for money. Zoe is a wonderfully warm character who offers genuine hospitality to all her customers. Her staff are helpful and efficient. Well worth a visit!

“Prize supper”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

I won a prize dinner for two in Chez Zoe.

It tasted Ok but as we walked back along the paseo, both our stomacks rumbled and we had to make a dash to the nearerest toilet. A terrible case of the trots.

“Trés bon”
Reviewed March 5, 2013

This is a restaurant that we have used many times over the years. It is owned and run by Zoe, a lovely French lady who is a real character. It’s position at the eastern end of the Paseo makes it very convenient for people living at El Alcolar or El Alamillo who do not want to make the walk into the centre of the port.

The cuisine is, obviously, unashamedly French, and very good too.

This week we had lunch on a rainy day and so sat inside. But you still get lovely views through the window out across the bay.

The basic weekday set menu is 10€ for 3 courses but no drink. There is a different, more expensive, menu including a bottle of wine between 2 people at 17€ per person.

For our 10€ menu we had, respectively, cream of vegetable soup and quiche to start and the Boeuf Bourginon for our main course. We followed this up with tarte aux pommes and crème brulee for dessert. Everything was very tasty and the meat was beautifully cooked.

If you fancy a French meal while you are in Spain, this is the place to go.

“Super food and great value.”
Reviewed January 20, 2013

We went to Chez Zoe twice while on holiday in October and were really impressed with the
value and more importantly the quality of the food.
The first time we had the three course set menu and everyone thoroughly enjoyed every
single dish and thought it was really good value.
The second time we just had one main course from the a la carte menu and everything
was lovely.
Zoe is a great host with a good sense of humour and the service was spot on.
If we ever visit the area again we will most definitely visit Chez Zoe.

“Love this place - Simple home cooking done very well!”
Reviewed December 2, 2012

Located on the Paseo on the front, this place continues to do the best value Menu del Dia in the Port. Fresh ingredients, really simple homely cooking, it's a real must. Zoe the owner is a French lady, full of life, she loves what she does and it shows in the food! 5/5
