“Interesting”
Reviewed September 28, 2012

OK - firstly the kids loved this place. Great play area and at night scary (but wont tell you why). They found it fun with the wheel of fortune at the end of the night. The owner is a very interesting character with endless tales/stories. The restaurant offers a BBQ for a set menu of Euro 25 (I think) and children are half price. For this you receive a cold buffet for starter then obviously a cooked BBQ of various meats. If honest, its not the best food in the world but has a great atmosphere. The staff are extremely friendly and all are multi lingual! It's fun, bizarre but please dont expect the greatest cuisine. I forgot to mention the parrot!!

“Interesting experience, but food lacks imagination”
Reviewed June 23, 2012

Having read the mixed reviews on Trip Advisor, we thought we'd risk it and give this one a try. With its fun decor, welcoming atmosphere and friendly owner we were looking forward to some nice food. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the hype. The cold buffet was average and quite bizarrely included a stack of English pork pies! The biggest disappointment though was the BBQ food. Standard fayre of hamburgers, ribs, sausages and minute steaks, but none of it particularly inspiring, all overcooked and dry as a result. A missed opportunity because if the cuts of meat had been better quality, cooked properly and perhaps marinated in something interesting, it could have been a whole different experience.

Overall, disappointing and at 23 Euros per head well overpriced.

“Atmosphere Lovely but Food Ok”
Reviewed June 15, 2012

It was really fun the whole atmosphere of the romans but every so often the sound hits you from the toll road up above. There is a really really good play area where the kids go when waiting for the food. The food may be ok but the drinks are fantastic. If you go have "can't believe it's not Champagne" As i have had it many times i know it is fantastic last time i went me and my cousin drank loads. It is a good restaurant but the food may let you down. It is good for families and very active. Paul, the owner, has wheel of luck. You should go on it.
