“Lovely hotel, good location.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 8, 2013

The location is great. Lovely coastal walks and easy access to many places if you hire a car. We stayed on the second floor with a seaview..it was fine but the balcony was directly onto the roof of the main building below. The room was large and clean. We personally found the beds to be too hard for us but we put the blankets underneath the sheet so that it was much better. The service is good all round the hotel.
The restaurant provides good food. Minor niggles regarding "vegetarian food" which isn't and the prepared food at dinner could be hotter. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice. The restaurant is noisy and busy, the waiters so busy they sometimes totally clear the table when you have gone for your next course. It is all a bit rushed. I hope the management improve this to make the hotel even better.
Drinks at dinner were reasonable.
Entertainment was missed by us as it usually started 1 hour after it was advertised! We now know! Music in the bar area in the evening needs a bit of variety.
The hotel has 2 lovely beaches either side and many other facilities within a long walk or short drive. We drove to La Manga/Mar Menor on one day visiting other coastal towns along the way. Happened to visit the Servigroup hotel there, which looked very nice too. Also drove to Cartagena for a day, well worth a trip. It is a short, easy drive from the airport. I would return to this hotel.

Room Tip: Choose seaview, third floor upwards for better views.

We had our holiday/wedding/honeymoon here and cannot fault one minute of our stay. Everything went perfectly! Organisation and support from all the staff was superb and they helped to make our entire stay tops!
We would highly recommend this location for not only a wonderful holiday destination - but any happy occasion you might like to celebrate would be amazing as their attention to detail could not be faulted in any way.
Our room was spotless and large and comfortable. The breakfast choices to die for. The service from the bar staff - attentive and amusing, the reception staff - accommodating and patient and the house keeping staff always on hand and obliging.
We had the time of our lives and would highly recommend this hotel to you out there on trip adviser.

Room Tip: floors 3 and above - ask for end rooms or rooms over looking the pool - amazing views!

We have just spent 12 very happy days at this Hotel. Check-in was a bit slow, but the staff more than compensated by their efforts. We stayed in room 624 and found it to be ideally situated in relation to panoramic views. The one big feature for us was the Waiter Jesus. This gentleman was a very big factor in our enjoyment of this holiday. If I owned a Restaurant I would make every effort to employ this man. His English was limited, but then so is my Spanish, but he more than compensated by the service he provided. Overall this was a very enjoyable holiday. It has been our fourth holiday with the Servigroup and I just wish they had more hotels throughout Spain. Thank you Servigroup.

Room Tip: Choose a room in the 204-804 range.Panoramic vista and quiet.

one of the best hotels I have stayed in good location coastal walks either side to playa flamenca
and cabo roig with further beaches and coves. good choice of food for breakfast and dinner.
walk from the hotel to la zenia island where you will find paddys point a lively irish bar with live
entertainment nightly .a further short walk will take you to the new shopping centre la zenia boulevard we had a drink at paddys to break our journey! there is also a large supermarket and other bars and a Chinese shop and restaurants. good upmarket area.

Room Tip: stayed in room on third floor overlooking pool 322 very quiet sunny balcony two single beds

We stayed here for 3 nights full board to mark our wedding anniversary last year in spain. Hotel views are amazing. We was on the 7th floor looking out on the sea. Rooms clean, large with lots of cupboard space. Bathroom also clean and maid service came everyday. Restaurant service was great and so was the food. Being a fussy eater and not a big meat eater the variety and quality was good. I would agree with the previous review however that meal times get very noisy at times and perhaps some background music or adding tablecloths would help din the noise. Pool area is lovely with plenty of beds and short stroll down some steps to the beach. The sea for a couple of days had huge waves and there were even some surfers. It had calmed by day 3. Sunbeds on the beach priced at 15€ for 2 beds and a brolly. I didn't really drink in the bar but drinks at meal times were reasonable €6 for a 3/4 bottle of wine. Would recommend this hotel and I will be back. Thank you

This was my fourth stay at this lovely hotel. Room was great, good selection of food for breakfast and dinner, and prices very reasonable. Fantastic position - every room with some sort of sea view. On any other visit it would have been a five-star rating however during this stay, the hotel changed the format of the dining room, replacing the linen table cloths and serviettes with place mats and paper serviettes, for all meals. Overnight, a pleasant dining area morphed into a fast food cafe and became extremely noisy (presumably the table linen previously deadened the sound). I hope the hotel will consider changing back to the old format - I would think twice about staying half-board again.
