“A little bit of Spanish...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 1, 2013

Found this Tapas bar after looking on here. Not many reviews but the ones on were pretty good so we decided to give it a go.

Good choice. Food was very tasty and we tried numerous tapas dishes which was a refreshing change from the hotel food which was typically unspanish! Staff were very friendly, even with their limited English (and our almost non-existent Spanish!). We visited a second time before leaving and it was just as good. Also this place is much cheaper than the restaurants on the sea front itself were you could easily pay double Juanito prices.

Would highly recommend a visit if around the Los Gigantes/Puerto De Santiago area and it's very easy to find.

“Such a friendly and traditional place to be”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 22, 2013

We stayed in the nearby area, 1 minute from Juanitos Tapas bar and enjoyed many visits for meals, drinks and coffee. Everything was tip top, the staff were lovely, some of the food was the best we have ever tasted in Tenerife and Juanito and Olivia are the perfect hosts and Nere the perfect waitress. Highly recommended.

“A must for the best tapas and drink.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 4, 2013

We stayed in the Los Dragos Sur hotel and this Tapas Bar was right beside us on the way up to the Transito supermarket and a great fruit and veg warehouse with very fresh produce,we spent a good few hours in Juantios, over our week in Puerto de Santiago and loved the place, you will get the best pint of Dorado beer here that you can get on tne whole Island for just 2 euro served in a frosted glass,so cold that ice crystals form in the beer itself,Juanto is there most of the time himself and seems a lovely man,and the rest of the staff are very friendly.I can thouroughly recommend the Tapas which most come as both starter and main course portions, typical canarian food done well, the Garlic Prawns were especialy nice and had them a few times and there chips are good too, home made not frozen.Lovely place to sit outside and watch people go by,and the sun go down.
The clientel seem to be a mix of locals and ex pats, they provide papers to read in spanish english german etc,and they have a big screen tv there not too loud showing soccer I noticed (british premiership games with spanish commetery). The toilets are also very clean.
Thank you Juantos for some lovely memory's.
