date of travel 25TH September -this is our second time at this hotel and glad to say the standards are just as good, we had a junior suite on the 7th floor at the cliffs side away form the noisy bar at the other side, the staff make this place apart from the waiters at the out side bar who could do with lessons on customer service .WE were the 5th couple who walk away in one night because we could not get served feel as though they were ignoring the all inclusive people would like to single out the lovely cleaner we had she did a first class job reception, reception bar and of course but not last the dining room staff who are kept extremley busy we will definitely be back in fact have already done so for March 2013

Room Tip: get a junior suite if you can the sunbeds are already on the verandahs and facing the cliffs

We stayed here recently with Thomsons on an AI deal, the rooms over looking the sea at first class for views but with the hot weather ( over 32/33 each day) the balcony was just too hot to sit on in the early evenings. The pool areas are nice but get up early for the sunbeds although plenty to go around. The AI service was very good with decent drinks with real bottles of San Miguel/Coke etc. The main issue we had was the lack of air con in the public areas, the dining room was very hot all the time, a thermometer outside the door showed 28/29 degree each evening to give an indication. The breakfast were excellent with plenty of choice but the lunch and dinner were pretty ordinary and always cold with repeated dishes of pork, pork and more pork chops as the only meat unless you wanted rabbit or goat. The dining experience in the evenings was the only negative so much so we chose to eat out the last 2 nights. Such a shame. The hotel guests are made up of probably 50 % German then English, French and Polish making up the rest . If the public rooms air con was sorted and the food improved this would be a 5* for me. Staff were excellent throughout.

Room Tip: Rooms on Floor 4 overlooking the sea are excellent.

Although we had initial problems - when we arrived at a busy time, the lady on reception (whose name began with a V) seemed to give preference to Spanish people and eventually allocated us an inferior room with partial sea view - although we had paid for a full seaview all inclusive. We complained within the hour and was told no other rooms were available as hotel was now fully booked - had to wait until Sunday (from Friday) for a room with full seaview. Also in the inferior room, there was no hairdryer we had to ask twice (and wait 36 hours) before we got one ! Note avoid rooms 1-13 on each floor.

Bad start, but first impressions are not always right. We then found a gentleman on Reception who was receptive, friendly, a sense of humour and helpful and our problems were sorted. Most of the rooms have magnificent sea views. Everything was cleaned to the highest standard throughout the hotel - the pool areas, bars, restaurants or rooms - absolutely immaculate. The views across the ocean by the pool area were unbeatable, although you had to rise early to reserve your favourite spot.

With the exception of our first lady, all the staff were friendly and efficient. The waiters were excellent and we found that they were willing to serve whether AI or not - most times they did not expect a tip.

Hotel entertainment was variable - the in house entertainments team did a good job but some of the acts brought from the outside were excellent - loved the music of "Old dogs new tricks". Across the road a couple of the bars had live entertainment as well.

The food was of the highest standard (breakfast, dinner and lunch), quite varied with some show cooking, although occassionally one or two dishes (as you would expect catering for several hundred people) were not as hot as you would normally wish for. The restaurant was not air conditioned and if you sat inside it could be quite uncomfortable, limited outside restaurant seating meant you had to queue to dine "al fresco". The wait was worth it though !

It's always easy to list criticism and the only other one I will mention is that the doors to the rooms and some of the furniture in the room was a little tired. The air conditioning in the room was quite noisy when full on and not completely effective.

If you're looking for a quieter area with beautiful views and unspoilt scenery, about 15 minutes walk from Los Gigantes (it's worth taking a boat trip from here to see the dolphins, whales and turtles !). No groups of young lads or girls, high standard all-inclusive - then this is it. Another good sign is that we met several other couples who had booked this hotel more than once.

If we could remove the first day from our holiday, then this would be nearly perfect !!!

Room Tip: If you've paid for a room with a full seaview - then don't accept rooms 1 to 13 on each floo...

I stayed at this Hotel from 07/09/2012 till 21/09/2012. This hotel is everything you could wish for when on Holiday. The food is first class with ample choice and is well cooked and hot, the drink is not like other all inclusive deals where the beer is rubbish we where served with san Miugel and the shorts where really good too. (not like the usual paint stripper you usually get).
The rooms where well appointed and cleaned everyday with bedlinen changed every other day and all towels changed dailly. The staff cannot do enough to make your holiday enjoyable. We ask for a change of room after our first night and this done for us.(without incurring any charge at all) the only thing had to pay for was the room safe. (3 euro,s per day), the entertainment was different every night of our 14 day stay. I would go back again without thinking twice as it is so relaxing and peaceful. If i had to score this Hotel out of 10 I would give 9 the reason I would not give it 10 out of 10 is because the loction is very hilly. I can assure anyone who reads these review,s is to ignore them.( the negative one,s are from people who like to find something to moan about.)

Room Tip: If you should be unlucky to be place on the ground floor just ask to be moved and they will gladly d...

Just returned from our 2nd trip to this hotel. Even better than last time .....had complimentary upgrade to top floor overlooking sea pool and Los gigantes. Room very clean and large comfy bed.Chose the all inclusive option for first time this year and excellent value. Restaurant very busy and sometimes very warm and a bit uncomfortable but staff very efficient and friendly.....some days food a bit repetitive but overall quality and taste not bad....breakfasts wonderful . Pool area can get very busy and sadly you do have to put a towel out or you won't get a bed where you want it ......and people do get up in the dark to put towels out !! Agree with previous statement about parking ....not many spaces on the road and Hotel charge to park in their car park. Not much in the way of shopping or entertainment but personally it didn't bother us . Noticeably a lot less children as UK schools went back that week so average age of residents probably 40+. We had a wonderful relaxing sunny holiday and would happily return again.
