“Good value set menu”
Reviewed February 8, 2013

We had an impromptu lunch here because we had been told the set menu was good. For a modest £12.95 we had a starter of asparagus wrapped in ham with a well-dressed salad on the side, a beef, pork and chicken skewer, which should have come with potato wedges, but which they were happy to change to salad and a coffee/icecream/cream dessert. The coffee and home made cake looked good, and everything was beautifully cooked. It seems to be an Austrian or German restaurants and lots of their specialities reflect that, although they also have desserts such as pavlova on the menu. Well worth the visit

We visit Playa regularly and we live this place. The food is great, they're friendly. The only snag is that if it gets busy then the service can get very slow. It does get busy so you may need to book.

“Still top notch”

We visted again a year later and still wonderful food with attentive and friendly service.Superb Sirloin steak cooked to perfection, both my wife and myself really like this place and we have eaten in many so called up market establishments. They offer the complete package. You may have to book for peak eating times.
