“Pretty much perfect!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 22, 2012

We were recommended to Incognito on our second trip to the area and what a recommendation!! The food and service are the best we have had in a long time and totally unexpected as every where else we had been in the area was pretty average. I cannot speak highly enough of this gem of a place and it is so reasonably priced too!

“Really good food, nice find.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 22, 2012

We went looking for a restaurant to eat at, and to be honest weren't that hopeful of finding anywhere this good in playa de la arena.

After walking the front back and forth, we chose incognito. It was by far the busiest restaurant which is always a good sign.

The menu was varied although not like most of the restaurants there which seem to offer everything possible. There was a section of meats and fish. We both had sirloin steaks which were very well cooked, with sauce of choice. Chips were good, and there was a small side of vegetables.

Service was good, although a touch slow, it looked as though they didn't expect to br that busy.

However the whole meal was enjoyable and very reasonable. For the two steaks, 2 starters and drinks the bill was around 40euros. We could have had the daily menu for 9euros each.

“Never Again!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 10, 2012

We had eaten at this restaurant on four previous occasions without making a reservation. Due to the fact that we were aware that is is quite popular we made a reservation for 7.30p.m. We arrived five minutes early and decided to opt for a la carte. Our order was taken 10 minutes later. At 8.15 pm we still hadn't been served and I told my wife that I was prepared to wait no more tha 5 minutes before I would walk out. However no sooner had I said that the waiter arrived with our first course. I asked him why it had taken so long and pointed out that we had waited at least 40 minutes after ordering. He immediately became offensive stating that this was normal. When I pointed out to him that a group of four, who were staying aat the same apartments as us, had arrived 30 minutes after us had been served before us he replied by stating that they had ordered the set meal. It seems that table d'hote takes preference to a la carte at this establishment! He was extremely rude but was unable to reply when I pointed out that every table had received amuse bouche except us. I told him that I would place this on this site and he replied by saying "Do what you want" before walking away. We were served for then remaindere of our time by the other waiter notb the tall man with spectacles. Needless to say we will NOT be visting this restaurant again.

“Brilliant food and brilliant service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 31, 2012

The food was cooked to perfection and presented like a top end restaurant.

The ambiance, decor of the restaurant and the service was far and above the cost bracket being charged!

We spent about 55 Euros which included starter and mains for 2 people (one of which was steak), a good bottle of wine, and the 'freebies' of a couple of canapes, and some after dinner 'shots' (these seemed to be the standard).

Definitely recommend
