We tracked mountain gorillas which was very hard work but well worth it when we got up close to them! Highly recommended.

“Gorillas”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 27, 2014

The maximum group size is 8. We were fortunate to be the only two. There is nothing to dislike....the fact you feel physical pain on some of the escarpments/treks makes you relish the time you spend in the presence of these extraordinary creatures and appreciate their kindness to allow you in to their company.

We visited Bwindi in July 2014 , and went on our first Mountain gorilla trek. It was a tough hike in the hills but what waited for us at the end was a life changing experience. We met the most beautiful animal in the world -The Mountain Gorilla.Amazing, Amazing ,amazing-words cant describe the experience. The one hour we spent with them was enchanting ,they are so human in so many ways, they ARE BEAUTIFUL! Recommend this a 1000 times, its a must do in life.It will change you for ever.

We walked about an hour and found the gorillas just next to the trail. For an hour we were entertained! This was one of our trip's highlights and highly recommended!

“Unbelievable!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2014

This is absolutely a must in everyone's life. I did it twice, with a one day interval between the two tours. The first gorilla tracking, was a piece of cake. We have found the gorillas right away and after 2 hours we were back, after seeing the gorillas on the ground. The second time was a completely different story, since we had two walk for hours before finding them in tremendously difficult terrain conditions. But the rangers, the guide and the porters were really exceptional in assisting everybody, particularly the less fit people. And the sight of the gorillas was again tremendously emotional. Strong suggestion: get a porter, even if you are in good shape. The trek can be very very arduous and it is so much easier taking pictures without a backpack filled with bottles of water, food and rain gear on the shoulders.
