“Paradise found - a must visit”
Reviewed August 15, 2017 for a stay in August 2017

I stayed here with my 16 and 20 year old daughter for 3 nights and we had the most amazing time

Location is idyllic, on the owners land but privately set aside in its own little setting

The 2 bell tents are beautifully presented. Lovely bedding, lighting, torches, towels and hot water bottles provided for those nippy evenings which were a cosy addition. Each has its own outdoor seating area for those nice evenings outside

Facilities are great, this is glamping not a luxury hotel but the kitchen shower and toilet facilities are ample and give all the home comforts that make the experience a luxury camp.

Each bell tent has its own fridge, there is a microwave, kettle, toaster and all the plates cups and glasses etc are to hand

If there is anything you need Jackie the owner is more than accommodating. She really is a lovely lady, warm and sociable but not in any way imposing. I mentioned I wanted to get eggs and the next morning they were there waiting for us. How thoughtful.

We took our own blankets and solar lights and games for the evenings outside which we would expect to do. These were really handy and enabled us to maximise the evening in our little garden area where we sat and played until the wee hours

This is a relatively new venture and you can see the love that is being put into it. The pricing is very reasonable. Tea, coffee, milk and cereal are provided. Lovely touches. We also had all our towels changed after 2 days again very nice touch.

Had a wonderful nights sleep every night. It's so peaceful on the mountain. We were lucky to have 2 nights to ourselves and we're joined the third night by another family with small children who were clearly thrilled with the environment

Location is great. 40 mins from Snowdonia, 25 mins from Conwy which is well worth a visit. Good links to the zip wire and go below experiences which are really popular . We did the go below and it was fantastic.

This little glamping area is a taste of paradise, peaceful, practical, welcoming and bliss!

Well done Jackie, thanks to you and Clywyd for such a warm welcome - I will be back for sure.

Couldn't have asked for a more comfortable experience - more than met our expectations :-)

Highly recommended

“Idyllic retreat”

Put simply, we loved our stay at Meadow Rose. Our 2 year-old daughter was beside herself when we got there, she set off exploring the tipi and the surrounding fields, not letting the rain on the first night put her off. She loved being so close to animals!
The location is superb, 40 acres of fields and not a sound for miles around, it's great being able to ramble across the fields as soon as you get up. The kitchen and shower area had everything we needed and the little welcome pack made us feel right at home. There is lots to do in the surrounding towns, we'd recommend checking out the Llandudno cable car and Port Merrian which is about 30 miles away.
The owners Jackie and Clywd were fantastic and made us feel very welcome. Definitely will come again, this time with friends, this is a perfect place for families and groups of friends who want to get away from it all.
