“Great old fashioned pub.”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

Atmospheric old world pub with a good selection of beers. The food is good as well and the pub is well worth finding out. Open fires in the winter make this a cosy retreat to enjoy a few ales and some good pub grub.

“Authentic Rural Ale House”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

Lovely old pub, much extended from the original footprint going back forty years or so, when the bar was just one front room but extended sympathetically with lovely large car park.

“Fine beer and fare”
Reviewed June 30, 2013

A large country pub with well presented ales and an excellent menu with a bar section and a dining area. The Barn is an annexe. There is a garden to sit out in. In winter a large log fire warms the two bar rooms

“Fantastic wedding venue”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

Just returned from a wedding at this venue. Friendly staff with a beautiful location. Only gripe was the slightly higher than expected drink prices.
