We visited Bozcaada and stayed at Aliki for 7 nights in July 2012 and couldn't have asked for more from Liz and Ersin. Their home and guesthouse was beautifully decorated, located 2 minutes from delicious places to eat and drink and 2 minutes away from a place you can dip into the sea for a quick swim. Aliki was exceptionally clean and both Liz and Ersin helped us find our way around the island and were always more than happy to go the extra mile for us - including hunting down my lost camera which we managed to pick up on the way back home! We cannot thank them both enough for making our holiday so enjoyable and allowing us to totally relax in their beautiful home.

Room Tip: Choose the blue room - with a private balcony - although both rooms are gorgeous!

We visited Aliki June 2012 during a longer stay in Bozcaada.

Aliki is run by Liz and Ersin Bilen, a hospitable and friendly English/ Turkish couple. It is the kind of &B you see in det movies; charming, cozy with a homy feel to it. Liz and Ersin are generous with their knowledge about the island and will do all they can to make your stay comfortable and interesting.

The rooms are absolutely adorable with a great attention to detail (like the rest of the house). There is also a big roof terrace overlooking the town available to the guests.

The breakfast is traditional Turkish with fresh vegetables, fresh bread, eggs, local cheese and of course chai.

Aliki is a good choice for one couple, and maybe even better for two couples that know eachother. Then you will have the beautiful bathroom and the terrace all to yourself:)

We spent three nights at the lovely Aliki Konukeva. The hosts are Liz and Ersin, (and their very polite daughter Alice) and apart from being warm and friendly people, they are very knowledgeable about Bozcaada and travel in Turkey in general. It is a great advantage that Liz is English, for non-Turkish speakers! They both gave great recommendations for the island, and managed a balance between making us feel welcome in their home, but also providing space and privacy for guests. We stayed in the blue room, which has a private balcony, and it was very comfortable and great to have a space to hang out/have a glass of wine etc. You share a bathroom with the guests in the second room, but it is very large and nicely fitted out (and clean!). The view from the rooftop terrace is fantastic and available for all guests to use. Breakfasts are very generous and delicious too. Thankyou to Liz and Ersin for making our stay in Bozcaada so memorable, we hope to make it back some day!

This was not our first time to Bozcaada, we consider ourselves to know the island well, and we were very happy to have found Aliki on this occasion!! Liz and Ersin were great hosts who were knowledgeable on everything we asked, including the changes since we last visited and where was the best place for dinner!
The room was very comfortable, the bathroom spotlessly clean and the rooftop terrace - just amazing! Liz and Ersin have done a great job with the layout of their house so guests have space to relax. The screens on the doors and windows to enjoy the fresh breezes minus the bugs is a great plus (especially as the weather gets warmer)!
Extremely convenient location to the town and restaurants, but still quiet and peaceful for a great night's sleep.
Only two rooms here - book early!

Room Tip: Pink room has no balcony, blue room does. But there is a roof top balcony as well! We had the pink...

We stumbled across Aliki whilst walking around the Greek Quarter looking for accommodation. We were greeted by Liz and Ersin who (thankfully) spoke English and welcomed us immediately into their home. Our room had a gorgeous private terrace overlooking the Bozcaada Town, castle and sea. Liz and Ersin were fantastic hosts, providing beautiful, clean accommodation, delicious Turkish breakfast and service that went above and beyond. They gave us advice on the best restaurants, showed us the best beaches, introduced us to the best wines and made our stay truly memorable. We spent 5 nights at Aliki and during this time we felt like locals! We had a truly amazing amazing and memorable experience in Bozcaada!

Room Tip: There are only 2 rooms at Aliki so book early. One room has a private terrace, which I would highly...

After travelling for nearly two weeks around the West coast of Turkey, Aliki was like coming home.... that is, to a home where you can expect to be welcomed with huge warmth and treated to an array of amenities. Liz and Ersin are experts of the personal touch; not only providing very clean, well decorated and airy rooms (only two of them, so book early!) but also all the small things that a traveller yearns for from accommodation - a delicious, plentiful breakfast, recommendations for meals, and local knowledge of the island where they have lived for over ten years. We found it invaluable to have British Liz's advice on all sorts of aspects of Turkish (and Bozcaadan life), and both her and her husband always made time for us when we had a query or request. Moreover, the guesthouse is ideally situated in a quiet, cobbled street sheltered by vines that is only a minute away from the nearest restaurant, and five minutes or so from the 'main streets' of this tiny island town. We could not have been happier or more relaxed during our stay at Aliki, and we thank our wonderful hosts for thinking of everything and making the end of our trip so special.

After graduating from college, my boyfriend and I decided to do some traveling. We worked our way up the Aegean coast of Turkey, ending in the beautiful island of Bozcaada. Finding Aliki Konukevi, a gorgeous B&B right by the center of town, was by far our most enjoyable and most comfortable experience in Turkey. The home is absolutely charming, much like our hosts, Liz and Ersin (owners). Residents of Bozcaada for over 9 years, Liz and Ersin were extremely helpful and accommodating, recommending the best restaurants, beaches, and sights. After a long time of travel from city to city, we were thrilled to discover Aliki in it's welcoming "home-away-from-home" atmosphere. We highly recommend Aliki to all Bozcaada visitors--especially couples. Book well in advance!

Room Tip: Only two rooms--book early!
