A little bit pricier than we paid elsewhere but a very interesting menu with lots of traditional dishes. The waitress was lovely and spent a lot of time going through the dishes and explaining what they were. We both enjoyed delicious meals in a very pleasant setting.

This is really a nice restaurant. Surprising menu with crocodile and springbok. Had my first crocodile here and loved it.
Very friendly and good service. Dedicated people with a passion for Afrika and good food. The attached shop has some great stuff, not your everage tourist stuff but nice pieces for reasonable prices. We will come back!

Stopped here for breakfast on our Panorama route. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly. We loved the deli also. They sell local coffee and jams etc. witch is wonderful. Loved the hotplates, because it kept the food warm on a winters day.

After not being so impressed with our accommodation in Sabie we ventured out to dinner to this lovely restaurant and made our stay in Sabie much more memorable. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly and made a recommendation to try the Wildebeest. I always love a good recommendation as I'm terrible at choosing sometimes so I gave it a go. It was very lovely. The restaurant and food gave a good "home cooking" vibe. The Wildebeest was served with a traditional South African Maize(?) that reminded me a little bit of Sago and it was served with a delicious sweet jelly. My partner had some Lamb and he particularly like it as well. The restaurant was very well priced for both food and drinks. We were in a group of 10 and everyone's food came out promptly and there was an excellent range on offer that appealed to everyone - even Pizza!

There was a lovely fire place there and even lots of great books about South Africa to read while waiting for dinner... even a little gift shop to browse.

And you know it is a good restaurant too because it isn't just tourists filling the tables but locals as well.

Definitely worth a visit for a meal in Sabie!
