We stayed here in may 2013 and we had a great experience. We loved the pretty rooms and they where very clean. We felt really welcome in the townhouse.
The breakfast in the early morning was really special and made with love!

We generally tend to stay in hotels, not B&B or small guest houses... but needed a place to stay on our way to Gomo Gomo and found this guest house on Trip Advisor. What a great find! We had just arrived in SA from Zimbabwe and got lost~ making our arrival much later than anticipated. To make matters worse, our phone did not work in SA so we could not call Sabie TH to let them know. No worries. Greg was kind enough to stay up and wait for us... with a smile! We stayed in the Zebra room. King size bed, Jacuzzi, huge bathroom and shower. What a treat after our long trip!!! Kate fixed breakfast in the am... and in the light of day we saw what a beautiful place it was! The view was phenomenal... Even has a pool! Had we had more time... we would have stayed a couple of extra days for sure!

Room Tip: Loved the zebra room with its outdoor Jacuzzi.

Sabie, nestling nicely in forested mountains and a great base to enjoy all the must see attractions, panoramic views, waterfalls, eco life style, wildlife, extreme fooling around and topped by the Kruger Park. My stay with Kate and Greg , one of the nicest couples one could wish to meet, where nothing was too much trouble and always with a smile. Wonderful hosts and wonderful accomodation. Thanks guys for a great stay, will definetly see you again.

When we arrived at Sabie Townhouse we couldn't believe our eyes, it was such a beatiful guest house. It is full of little corners and chill out spaces where we could hang out and relax, enjoying the magnificent views of South Africa. We were a group o 20 people, all family members, and we just felt like it was home. Kate and Greg couldn't have been more homecoming and warming guests. They even showed us some really nice and hiden places, such as caves and waterfalls.
We also celebrated a family birthday party in the dining room and they facilitated all comodities and fancy fod for us to enjoy. We still remember Kate's amazing food and the beautiful birthday cake she baked for us :)
All 20 of us would recomend the place for any big group or couple who want to spend a few days in the most beautilf litle logde.
Thank you very much Kate and Greg for helping us to haveuch a nice start of our trip :)

Our 4 night stay with Greg and Kate was an absolute pleasure. We took some family from the UK to Sabie and my initial concerns about how to do guest house living with two groups in two separate rooms were totally unfounded. Greg and Kate allow their guests open access to their common areas and we always felt at home on the deck, around the pool and in the garden.

What's more, our hosts welcomed our two year old boy with open arms, making it a wonderful family visit. A note to other parents, careful supervision of children is required as there is a large pool and elevated deck.

The rooms are spacious, spotless and well equipped.

The road in to the guest house belies the luxury of the guest house. Keep driving... it is absolutely worth it. The guest house is ideally situated for touring around the Panorama route.

Dear Emmi.

Thank you very much for your kind words and compliments. We also sincerely appreciate your constructive feedback regarding the swimming pool and elevated deck area and have taken this issue very seriously.

We recently installed a safety fence and gate to ensure that children are safer and better protected from having any unfortunate accidents in these areas.

Looking forward to seeing you and the family back soon!

Best regards
Greg & Kate

On our trip to the Krugerpark we stayed one night at this unique B&B. Their website provided us with all the necessary info which was perfect for us regarding our planning. Upon arriving Kate and Greg welcomed us and they are truly wonderful hosts! The room was spacious, well equiped and the house itself impressed us and there was a nice atmosphere. Outside a pool, beautiful sundeck and bar. The area around Sabie is wonderful, the city is small, but with good restaurants nearby the B&B. The Wild Fig Tree was recommended and proved to be a very good choice. Whenever in the area again we certainly will try to book at the Sabie Townhouse again. Thanks again Kate and Greg, as we had a short but great time at your place.

Greg and Family offer guests a warm personal welcome to our lovely, distinctive home, constructed of river stone and local timber, peacefully situated overlooking the stunning natural beauty of the Sabie Gorge. Without exception, the many guests who have stayed with us comment on the uniqueness of our home and that photographs just do not do it justice. From the verandah you can catch a glimpse of the hyrax enjoying the early morning sunshine, watch our resident sunbirds sipping nectar from strelitzia and hibiscus flowers, hear the occasional fish eagle calling and we have even been lucky enough to have a hippo wander by! Or you may like to take a short stroll across open bushveld to sit on the rocks and admire the gorge and river below. The emphasis of our spacious rooms is to offer guests comfort and a place to relax and feel at home. All have a separate private entrance and the majority overlook the lush gardens. Children are welcome, so we have family suites available and we are the only wheel chair friendly guesthouse in Sabie. Sumptuous breakfasts are served either in the dining room or on the verandah overlooking the swimming pool. We offer warm and friendly hospitality. ... more   less
