“Excellent Restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 13, 2013

We had a table for 9 people, the food, service and wine were all excellent ... staff friendly and the biggest T Bone Steaks we'd ever seen ! Would definitely go back if/when in the area.

“Best paella in a long time.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 11, 2013 via mobile

Good meat and seafood paella. Pork was really tasty. Rice was good enough to eat without the meat and fish. Eat here and walk 25m to Port des Torrent beach to sleep it off. Makes a great Spanish Sunday.

“Back to its old, excellent, form!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 11, 2013

The 'Old Cock' has a history and over the years has changed hands more than once. With this the quality of the cooking and the service suffered and we stopped going. Then recently we heard that it was back, even serving the famous Old Cock curry on Saturdays, complete with all the trimmings - so we thought 'Why not try it again?' Boy are we glad we did! For us, the food was spot on with a great selection to suit everyone. Even my curry was just as I remembered it. The service too was great, so we will definitely be putting El Viejo Gallo back on our must visit list.

“Absolute must visit!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 19, 2013

We stayed at the sirenis in June 2013 and went to this restaurant twice! The staff were so friendly and accommodating especially to our two year old. I can recommend the lamb kebab and the endives! Wish I could go back again!

“Cook it yourself!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 26, 2013

We visited this lovely restaurant whilst on holiday in Ibiza. The restaurant was recommended to us by another family staying at the same hotel and so we thought we'd give it a go. We were advised to order steak. Me and my husband ordered Ox T-Bone steak, cooked on a stone grill, which a minimum of 2 people have to share it was 19Euros each. We weren't expecting what we got...a huge piece of T-bone which had been cut into small pieces and the waiter brought over a stone grill on which you cook the meat yourself. It came with three different sauces and seasonings...it was delicious and a very different experience. The meat was cooked to perfection as you did it yourself! Lovely! Never done that before in a restaurant!
My 22 month old daughter was very happy with her spaghetti and later enjoyed an ice cream. The staff were pleasant and the sangria was good!
I would love to go back but we went on the last night of our holiday :(
The price was reasonable and I think it cost about 73Euros for the full meal (around £60).
