The previous reviewers have done a great job at saying what we would. Great location for the ruins and airport. Wonderful, endearing family, huge clean room, fine breakfast served early due to flight departure time. We would alwYs stay here.

We stayed at Domus Gratiae for a one-night stopover between two tours (week 1 Lazio and week 2 Umbria). It was excellent in every way and well deserved the very high ratings that it gets on TripAdvisor. The accommodation was of a high standard and we had a very restful stay. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Transport was arranged for us to go to the Airport (very close by). It's close to the excavations and the metro station. Excellent in every way - thoroughly recommended. We used PayPal to pay the bill and there was no problem in the language, even though our Italian is limited (basically to hello and thank you!).

We stayed in Domus Gratiae for a one-night stopover near Da Vinci Airport in Rome at the end of September. It was excellent in every way and well deserved the very high ratings that it gets on TripAdvisor. The accommodation was of a high standard and we had a very restful stay. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and kindly arranged transport for us from and to the nearby airport.
Domus Gratiae is conveniently situated very close to the Ostia Antica excavations and to a metro station that gives a quick service to the centre of Rome. We visited the excavations and thought that they were as interesting as those in Pompeii.
We have very happy memories of our brief stay, and would love to go back again if we had the chance.

We were so happy to discover the Domus Gratiae because we want to come back again and again. On the day we arrived, my husband and I had traveled 5+ hours in trains to get this far south to connect with our return flight to the US. The owners welcomed us into their home and offered chilled prosecco and snacks. Within minutes, we knew we had found the place to call "home" in Italy. Grazia offered us a choice of rooms (for the night we arrived we were the only guests) and we chose the 'Cornelia' - large, sparkling clean, with a comfortable private bath and a large balcony. Our alternative room was equally lovely. Grazia and Fabrizio offered suggestions for local restaurants (Cybo was our favorite) and gave us information about the "archaeologico" which is the astonishing ruin of Roman Ostia Antica. We spent a full day exploring those ruins and saw only 60% - yes, the ruins are that large. We are so grateful that we ended our trip to Italy at "Domus Gratiae" and look forward to Grazia's homemade breakfast cakes again in our future.

Room Tip: All the rooms seemed wonderful.

Our stay was just perfect. They were very warm and welcoming, room was comfortable, and breakfast was delish!!!!!!!

Location was great, very near to the ruins, and the airport. Made a great stop before heading to the airport the next morning.

Thank you once again for your hospitality!

What a wonderful little B&B. We finished our 10 days in Italy staying in Ostia Antica mainly because it was closer to FCO than staying in central Rome. We did visit the ruins, and we had the best pizza we have had this trip at C. Cybo. But the delight if this little town is Domus Gratiae. Having only been a B&B for a year, this couple "gets it" and everyone becomes their family. They are soon to celebrate 51 years of marriage, and they couldn't be nicer! They speak better English than we speak Italian, but together we made it work, and we had a lovely time. If we are lucky enough to return, we would stay here again. Rooms are very nice, and bathrooms quite modern. The bed and pillows were the best we had this trip. Bella!

Thank you Franco and Grazia, for the relaxing times.
My wife and I stayed with our kids in the room Agrippina, a very well design and spacious room on the third floor of this villa, with access to a balcony that helped us feeling at our own home and relax...
The location of this B&B is great, especially if you don't like driving into Rome's craziness :)
It's close to the Ostia Antica museums, and very close to the beaches of Ostia.
Grazia's home made cakes were amazing and gave us the right energy to start the day...

Hope to see you again.
