The food was good - it wasn’t tapas though and even though we asked if they served tapas we were offered a couple of starters. We had the ham croquets and some meatballs which were served as a main meal. Service from the man who seemed to be the owner was less than friendly and wouldn’t go back.

We visited on our first night after researching for real, traditional, canarian food. We were surprised at how pleasantly quiet the restaurant was when we arrived. Our canarian waitress was fabulous friendly and to find my favourite wine was a bonus. (Terras guada).
We ordered the garlic prawns, pimentos padron and goat cheese to start. To which my partner wanted more prawns. We had a rice dish to share for main.

The strudel for dessert was divine.

We have returned just 2 nights later, even though we had researched other options, as between us, he wanted garlic prawns AGAIN. I wanted pimentos pardon AGAIN, and the cheese with the addition of Langostinas..
Photos show the delectable dish it was.

Cant wait to visit again even though we are here a short week.
Staff fabulous. Setting fabulous. Food fabulous. Dont be english you need to visit. This is a must.

My girlfriend and I have eaten here 3 times in 4 days it’s honestly that good. The seafood is so unbelievably fresh it’s as if it’s literally been caught to order. The crustaceans are out of this world, some of the biggest prawns I have ever seen, absolutely glorious mussels cooked simply steamed in saltwater as the they are so flavoursome a sauce would just detract from the experience. The sharing paella is simply divine, just an amazing feast to share. We returned for our New Years dinner, the starters were superb but our mains were to die for. A confit duck leg in a rich orange sauce that just fell of the bone and a whole melt in your mouth seabass. Throw in the fact that we had 2 courses, a bottle of Veuve and coffees all for only £100. I don’t think this is the best seafood restaurant in Lanzarote, I think it could potentially be the best in Europe.

Stopped at Puerto Callero on our way back from Playa Blanca. My son and daughter in law had eaten here before and enjoyed it.The staff are very friendly and helpful our meal was really tasty.THE prices were quite reasonable as were the drinks that we all had. The restaurant is right on the harbour front which was very scenic. Would certainly recommend this restaurant..

Garlic prawns were delicious, steaks were tasty but nothing exceptional. We had a lovely relaxing evening, very pleasant waitress, just nothing stand out. Puerto Calero is a beautiful spot, location enhances any restaurant.
