Thank you very much for your feedback. The rate for B&B in May was N$ 700 per person sharing, which is in the medium price range for accommodation in Namibia. Kindly note, that the rate includes a contribution to our programs for ecological friendly management of our lodges and conservation efforts in our nature parks. At Kalahari Anib Lodge we are busy installing a water recycling plant in order to cover all watering needs in the garden by recycled wastewater. The dinner is priced at N$ 220 and consists of a 4 course set menu (starter, soup, main course, dessert). Your remark concerning the bad service has been forwarded to our lodge management. We are constantly training our staff, from the kitchen to the room service personnel, in order to offer a service with a smile - as our reception staff has delivered on your arrival.

Really a very nice place to go if you just arrived in windhoek and picked up a car and don't want to stay in windhoek itself.

The campsites are clean and pretty isolated. This does mean quite a walk to the restaurant (which is a bit scary in the dark, bring a flashlight), but also very nice, since you probably will have a campsite with its own facilities just for yourself.

Food wat great, both dinner and breakfast. Shop is handy too (buy a sunhat, you will need it lateron the holiday). Special mention for the very nice small honey cakes they made at breakfast. They were like small peaces of heaven melting in your mouth.

It's a great property and we really enjoyed the Sundowner Drive with David, who was very eager to provide us with a good experience. Still, we left this property with mixed feelings. Service, if friendly, was very slow and chaotic - they constantly got our orders wrong. We consider management responsible for this, as they hardly seemed to care about their guests and gave off a quite lazy impression overall. Bad management, a forced-upon-you (and expensive) 4 course dinner as well as sharply risen game drive prices - expect to leave this beautiful property with the feeling of having been milked a little too much.

We were initially booked at the kalahari farmhouse but moved to the anib lodge when the farmhouse closed for renovations. We were a bit hesitant as this is a bigger lodge that we read caters to tour groups. The lodge provided us with a free sundowner drive for our inconvenience which was a level of service beyond the norm in Namibia. On arrival we were met in the parking lot by a woman from reception who was informative and very friendly. This set the mood for our stay. This was the best reception of all the places we stayed in Namibia. As we were independent travelers we had a nice room around the back with a view of nature. Dinner was tasty although the starter salads need a little improvement. The only negative was the pools which were both very green and needed some attention. the kalahari was a nice place to relax. we were expecting big dunes and were a little let down by how flat everything is but the sand color is fantastic.

We were heading south for the Kagaladaki TFP and required a stopover for the night. This was our choice and we did not regret it. We should like to revisit for longer next time.
Reception was swift, friendly and efficient. The layout is mainly outdoors with bungalow style chalets etc..,an outside dining area and bar. Food was presented well and delicious. All contact staff that we met were extremely friendly and helpful.
The place is a Game farm/Park and they offer interesting drives in their open vehicles to see antelope etc., close up if you are lucky. No 'dangerous' game although Leopards are seen from time to time. Guided nature walks are also provided.
Chalets were clean, spacious and well laid out. Bathrooms are en suite with a high level of cleanliness throughout.
Breakfast next morning was well cooked with a variety of dishes available to suit all tastes (no puns)
All in all a comfortable and restful place in a beautiful location.

We were recomended by a friend to visit Anib lodge and what a great experience. Coming from the busy city life we just wanted a place to relax and reflect on the past year. Anib was the perfect place, the air-conditioned rooms were comfortable, the swimming pools were refreshing and the food was outstanding. Having to small children can be chalange but they accommodated us everywhere. Thank you to everyone at Kalahari Anib Lodge and also thanks to the friend that recommended the lodge. It was truly a great experience!
