Our stay at Suricate was mindblowing, we spend a whole day out in the most beautiful game reserve Namibia had to offer to my opinion!
The game drive we did was so much fun, I guess we saw everything the Kalahari has to offer within a few hours.
From the moment you leave the lodge the experience you get every time you cross one of the dunes is just great,
on the one side you see a large group of zebra, once over the hill a giraffe family!
We saw the lions, leopards and a whole bunch of suricates !!
Back at the lodge we loved sleeping in the tents with a view over what seemed to be a big salt pan!
There we saw a gnu herd run and the dust flying up behind them, there is no better way to wake up in the morning!
The meals were served by a very friendly staff and with view over the pan, the lodge has a nice relaxing feel to when the sun sets it is the perfect place for what they call a "sundowner drink" in Namibna.
We also joined the bushmen walk the next morning, a real interesting experience, sadly enough there was no more time to do a quadbike tour on the reserve.
But Suricate is on my list to visit next time we're back in Namibia!More
