One of the most beautiful campsites we stayed at, set among rocks and with a great little plunge pool to cool off in. Staff gave us a cycle tour of the local village and were generally very helpful throughout out two night stay

has everything you could dream of to make the stay just that little bit more amazing. donkey boiler for some hot water, showering under the stars, member of staff coming up to serve drinks in the tree top/rock top bar and then showing us a herd of elephants moving near the camp. simply outstanding and somewhere we would highly recommend to anyone.

The Best campsite because the people work with their hearts. They prépare the fire for the hot water the Afternoon and the morning. They sang the night at each campsite. Clean private shower and toilets
Thanks for all

We spent two nights at campsite 4 (very remote, not visible from any point) and enjoyed the surrounding as well as the lovely setting with own toilet, shower, sink and braai area build between rocks. Many birds and lizards come to visit (and also a spitting cobra felt invited to rest in our cool toilet area...but was as surprised as we were at 6am in the morning and silently left the scene...).
You can join activities offered by the nearby Grootberg lodge but I'd rather suggest to relax, take a short walk or enjoy the beautiful splash pool and/ or sundowner area (with small bar for sundowners), both wonderfully designed and with great views.
People and staff are great and really enjoy the contact with visitors.
The sites are maintained on a daily basis and if you wish you get your donkey heated twice a day for your shower/ hot water (which is a waste of water in my opinion but that's a different topic...:-)).
Definitely one of the best camping spot's we've been to, well managed and with good possibility to get in contact with local community. Hope you'll enjoy your stay as much as we did. Special thanks goes to the guy with the big Cowboy-like hat (unfortunately we don't know your name).

Beautiful place in a great location, every pitch has its own bathroom and toilet, very comfortable, the swimmingpool is very small and has very shallow water, great bar with excellent view, the staff is REALLY nice, very friendly and made the experience special.
