“The food is not the point, drink the wines”
Reviewed November 6, 2012

All is organised as a show: the visit of the wine cellar too. At least this is informative and funny with Mr. Leflaive. :)
The wine tasting is nice, such as the wines, mostly due to Simon, the sommelier.
But to be honest, avoid the food if you can, except the starter, the rest is requiring more attention.

“Simple and great”
Reviewed November 1, 2012 via mobile

Great emphasis on wine tasting from Olivier Leflaive's reputable vinery. Simple but quality meals to go with the tasting. The menu is pre-set, €25 for food, €15 for 8 wines tasted, or you can go to 12 for €20, great education about the local appelations goes along with the tasting. Great value. La Table opens for lunch at 12.30 PM. Reservation is required since it is usually booked in advance. Quiet charming local place. There is a bakery near by - try their fig bread! Amazing!

“Great place for lunch”
Reviewed October 6, 2012

We had lunch here, which is a 6-course set lunch (including coffee and Gougeres) for €25 pp and then you choose which wines to go with it. We didn't book and were able to get a table.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff who speak English. The food was simple, but very good and the wine was excellent.

We would definitely go back.

“Never disappoints”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

Taste your way through burgundy here with a lunchtime tasting or stay at the hotel. For me I preferred the old tasting lunch in the less swanky surroundings but its VERY well done here. Oh and the champagne served here is my favourite Drappier.
