This is a lovely family run hotel with a great restaurant and a wine list that was fit for a royal wedding. M. Leflaive visits each table in turn. You need time to enjoy his 6 or 9 glass wine tasting menu. Yet to do wine tour but on our to-do-list if we can take that extra day driving north or south

Room tip: We had room 1 - this is called ‘romantic’! not the best - we have stayed in others

We stayed two nights in a large and very comfortable “pop” room ( room#10) facing the town square. Loved the open layout and huge French windows, comfy bed and fun, offbeat decor. We had a chance to chat with one of the owners, Patrick Leflaive, over wine and snacks in the inn’s living room. We ate a very good meal in the restaurant, just opted for the ala carte selections, which were well prepared and delicious. The wine of course is excellent, and we particularly liked the cheese “delice de Pommard” from Beaune cheese maker Alain Hess. Breakfast the next day was a continental buffet. The inn also hosts wine tours so it was a little hectic when the tour group arrived just as we entered the dining room. The town of Puligny-Montrachet is very quiet and there is really nothing else there aside from the winemakers, and a couple of nice hotels with restaurants. It’s very scenic though, surrounded by old vineyards and it’s well situated for day trips and biking excursions into many of the other charming nearby villages. I chose this town over Beaune because I did not want to be wandering in an overly tourist run town (and we had a car.) I highly recommend this quiet upscale village inn experience for its comfort, hospitality and fine food and wine.

Thank you so much for this very detailed and laudatory.
It's a pleasure to read that you enjoyed your choice of not staying in Beaune, and loved our peaceful village : Puligny-Montrachet.
We try to propose the best for our customers , best products from around with local producers.

We hope to welcome you again soon.

The hotel was wonderful. It was small, very intimate with a friendly staff. The wine pairing / tasting menu is an excellent experience. Great sommelier and it was a pleasure to meet the owner of the vineyard and hotel. I would definitely return!!

The town of Montrachet is small, but pitoresque. It was a very positive surprise for us (the family) to find a luxurous small hotel in the center of the town with an excellent restaurant and an excellent service. The only Caveat: Both (hotel as well as restaurant) are not really cheap.

a stunning hotel and restaurant. I went for dinner had the wine tasting option with 9 wines. Then decided to stay! It was so nice and comfortable. The staff were simply amazing, there won't anything that was too much trouble!
