We went up here with some friends. The weather was relatively warm, but had been raining so the terrace was not open. My experience was spoiled a little by the fact that we were seated right next to the open fire where they grill the meat, which would probably have been fine in winter; but not in august. We arrived quite late, so the restaurant was full and buzzing. There is plenty of atmosphere. The service was frankly a little so-so. The young waitress didn’t seem to be able to remember what aperitifs they had, nor what the specials were. The couple who run the place (Belgian) are really friendly; but know so many people that it is sometimes difficult to get their attention. Most of the food is meat – steak, lamb, duck, with one fish course. We had the duck, and one of our party had the steak tartar, which was delicious, but as big as a mountain – so don’t have a starter if you order this.
