We stayed here for one night in July 2013 and very much enjoyed our stay. Super room on a corner of the chateau. The chateau is surrounded by lovely garden and grounds. Attentive host. Quiet location. Highly recommended.

Very helpful and friendly owner, beautiful surroundings and nice rooms. Swimming pool and the garden with a small pond were great. Fresh breakfast with fruit and baguettes. Very romantic and peaceful place to stay.

We spent 5 unexpectedly delightful days in Chateau Camiac in the beginning of June. Surrounded by a wonderful, charming park, with old trees and blooming flowers, we were awakened every morning to the symphony of hundreds of birds. A real delight for the eyes and mind. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, especially the proprietor Mr. Perrin, a most interesting character. Good food, excellent wines and cozy rooms!! A most pleasant stay!! Highly recommended!!
Many thanks for your hospitality, good advice and entertaining stories about your terrific gliding experiences throughout the world. Unforgettable!!

We decided to stay in this most magnificant place at the end of our holiday in Southern France and were blown away with the place. We had been travelling the wineries of St Emilion and chanced upon this place during a drive through the country side. It is the perfect place to recharge batteries and enjoy serious french hospitality. Set just out of Creon, a car is necessary but you would have that anyway to vist the surrounding wineries. Everything about this Chateau is French, French and more French. From the long drive up to the long drive out, you won't be disappointed. The owner Jean-Marc is a passionate Hotelier, fluent in english and will go the extra yard for you. He has traveled extensively and his knowledge of Australia is incredible. Chance is he probably knows someone you do. The accommodation is in 2 parts, the main Chateau and a building at the back with a level of comfort to suit any traveller. There is a great pool with a peaceful view over vinyards - perfect to read a book and not be disturbed. The food and service was exquisite, large breakfasts and gourmet dinners with a wine list to suit anyone. There are somnme very well kept and presented stable adjoing the Chatea and horse riding through the vinyards is on offer. I would strongly recommend this Chatea for a stay, either at the start or end of a holiday. Thanks you Jean-Marc !!

Maria and I enjoyed 2 wonderful days & nights with Jean Marc at Chateau Camiac just a couple of days ago. This amazing building was a complete joy to stay in, and everything we needed or wanted was provided. Our room was glorious and the bed so comfortable we slept for more than 9 hours each night. The food was enjoyable, the service pleasant and the advice appreciated. Jean Marc even went out of his way to source a hubcap for me that I damaged on a hire car. He even gave us a bottle of red and white wine to take with us. Just spending time talking to Jean Marc is an experience, he is well travelled, highly educated and with a good sense of humour. It's clear he sincerely appreciates his guests. I whole heartedlt recommend a stay at Château Camiac, just be sure to twist their arm for a good rate on one of the premium rooms.

We have just spent three days staying at Chateau Camiac in Creon near Bordeaux. The chateau is beautiful and set in magnificent green countryside with a horse riding facility next door so you get lovely views of the horses. Our host and the owner, Jean-Marc is an absolute delight. Nothing is too much trouble for him to help you enjoy your stay. He made bookings for us at divine chateaux for wine tours and tastings and he also arranged dinners at local restaurants which we would never have found by ourselves. They were both extraordinary. Food and service excellent. We had dinner at Chateau Camiac one night and it was excellent. Jean-Marc's wine cellar is fabulous and he has a great knowledge of the local wines. We would thoroughly recommend a visit to this beautiful part of France.

We recently stayed at Camiac again, and on the off-chance phoned Jean Marc (the owner) and he opened the chateau up for Us.
We got a very good room, great breakfast and sat down in the evening and enjoyed a good wine with JM.
So, if you want to go out of season to the Creon area (handy for St Emillion) then this is a very good place to give a call to.

The swimming pool and other outdoor facilities were closed. Hence the low rating. But normally I realy enjoy the facilities.
