This will be a long review but honest and it's only my opinion everyone is different,

Food
Firstly I couldn't stand the smell to the food hall as I first walked in but learnt to live with it, breakfast I enjoyed and fruit was lovely and fresh, I did start to get fed up at meal times as the food is mainly aimed at Spanish which I don't mind because it is Spain and I always found something to eat, the food that is more English isn't always cooked how we would like it at home but as I said its Spain. We ordered pizza for night time most nights and that was delicious.

Drinks

Unbelievable!!!!!
Don't bother ordering sex on beach tequila sunrise etc as you can drink all day and won't feel tipsy but just go straight to the bar and ask for whisky sambucas Gordon's gin absolute vodka they have everything, the queues at the bars is not a real problem there are plenty of bars and as people saying Spanish get served first its just us brits are polite and queue up they don't so just be the same and shout the bar staff lol my favourite barman was Ricardo big shout out to him real nice man

Slides

All fantastic slides kids loved them plenty of lifeguards on them not much more to say about them,

Rooms

Fantastic spacious very comfy beds cleaned every single day drinks topped up in fridge air con was fantastic just remember to switch boiler on for about 45 minutes before a bath and you will have red hot water

Staff

Very friendly found most people helpful as for people saying Spanish are rude well yes some are but so are some brits it is what it is I dislike most people

Games room

Fantastic for the kids very well run, if your kids go missing you WILL find them here.

Area

Finestrat well if you it's just on the edge of benidorm buses are a bit annoying to get into town but if you like Spain you will like it here nice beach 5 minutes walk away and few shops, also good tip aldi is 5 minutes walk away nappies there are 11 euro for 70!

General stuff

There is a magic bus to other magic hotels for the ultra all inclusive wrist bands, we went to magic robin Hood and enjoyed it there its a little different from tropical splash but the bus took ages to get there, personally I'd use it as a free bus into benidorm it stops at a few hotels in benidorm. I heard two different guests complaining about stolen money from there room by the cleaners obviously I can't comment because I wouldn't know whether there after something free or genuinely were robbed but from my experience my cleaner was called fatima and she did an excellent job and nothing was out of place, my personal advice just keep your valuables locked away when your not in the room, and it's not just cleaners who enter your room there a bloke who tops your fridge up when you order pizza a pizza boy will go in and drop it in if your not in.

My personal overall opinion and like I said it's my opinion is I'm going to be traveling more to Cyprus Greece Turkey etc because the further I can get away from English the better lol and I prefer those countries there more authentic they keep to there tradition and are much cleaner and more beautiful but its my opinion, the hotel I was very happy with and you will enjoy it here as long as you allow yourself too and drink sambucas all in all great hotel just not my cup of tea Spain isn't

Our family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids spent 10 days at the hotel. It was worth the money as it was fairly cheap for 10 days all inclusive in September. Some things were great. Some improvements could be made.

Location-
The location was great. Finestrat is lovely and it's only a 5 min walk to the beach which was excellent. Some nice bars and restaurants at the beach. Also only a 5 min walk to the shopping centre.

Rooms-
Pretty standard. Spacious but dated. There was a TV in each room with UK channels which was great having visited with children. There was a slight smell from the kitchen drain which was due to the storm a few nights prior. The hotel offered us a move but the smell went away as the weather improved. We were on floor 1 in Tower 4 and whilst the evening entertainment was noisy, it finished by midnight so no problem.

Food-
Pleasantly surprised. We always had something to eat and there was plenty of choice. The breakfasts catered for everyone. Fry up or croissants etc etc loads of stuff. The dinners were decent enough. Lots of choice and tasted nice. If food wasn't piping hot then there are microwaves which barely anyone used and they were spotlessly clean. I always gave my food a wee minute in the micro but that's just my preference to have really hot food. There were snacks available all day more or less. The drinks were branded and were self service in the restaurants.

Pools-
My one criticism was the poor signage indicating the depth of the pool. Small markings painted on the tiles round the outside of the pool can't be seen once in so easy to get caught out. The pool was 1.9m in some parts.
Flumes were great. Lifeguards were quite relaxed regarding the height rules and my 4 year old had a great time. My 8 year old loved the flumes.

Bars-
OK but some of the bar staff were rude and obnoxious. The Spaniards were always served first. In fact they barely ever stood in a queue- just pushed to the front and got served first. The staff were often seen to be hassled which was disappointing. The measures were ridiculously large and some of the states people were in with drunkenness was embarrassing. A lot of the English guests were loud and ignorant attention seekers walking around like Action Man, typical of what you could probably expect to find in Benidorm or Magaluf.

All in all it was ok. I think if I had the choice again I'd go somewhere else though.

We arrived quite late at around 11pm. Were sorted quickly by reception staff and were given a complementary drink. We were located on the 18th floor of block 2. Very high and the balcony doors did not lock properly which was a concern having 3 small children with us. The apartment itself was 2 bedrooms with 2 doubles in the main room and 2 singles in the second room. Lots of wardrobe space in both rooms. Lots of clean towels. The rooms are massive and the balcony had a mordern rattan suite which was nice to sit and relax in the evening. Both rooms came with tvs and bbc and itv with kids channels The maids were great came everyday. The fridge was stocked with some soft drinks a couple of beers and a bottle of champagne when we arrived so was a nice welcoming touch.
The hotel itself has around 7 bars so plenty of areas to get a drink although the queues could mount up during the evening. The fabulous waiters made cocktails on request no extra cost. All the alcohol is branded and there is beautiful gin bar open in the evening. If you like gin. Sadly I had a bad experience once and can't touch the stuff now without retching. But thats my own fault and a whole another story. The pirate pool is a great addition for toddlers. Shallow with a couple of slides. The kids loved it. Theres a climbing wall for the children and I have to say the instructor is brilliant and my daughter wanted a go but was scared when she got to the top and he coaxed her down and she listened to him. Which is a brilliant confidence boost. Hes a great guy. The kid club is good. Could do with some more toys and acitvites during the day though. One night we had rain so they opened the kids club until 11pm which was fab. They also have a small soft play area which is great for the kids. The entertainment can be a bit hit and miss. My children espcially enjoyed the reptilr,, birds of prey show and parrot show. Although the photographs are on the expensive side. £20 euros for a picture with the parrot but had to ve done. Nice memento. The food was again hit and miss. Lots of choice but cheap meats and some strange concoctions. The salads were beautiful though. The snack bar was good. Burgers, hotdogs and kebabs availbale throughout the day.
The pool was clean. Theres 2 slides that open during intervals in the day. I have to say that the towel reservations was a real issue though. One morning we woke up at 6am looked over thr balcony and nearly all of the bed had been reserved already. It does say not to reserve bed but nobody listened and I guess staff can't keep on top of it all. Some days we had beds at 8am some days we didn't. Not a big deal for us because we aren't sunbathers anyway. The beach is about a 10 minute walk and is stunning. Very clean and is surrounded by some lovely restaurants. Up the road is an aldi, mcdonalds and a few big chained restaurants if you miss home comforts. The water park is near the front of reception it has 5 slides. One vertical drop and the boomerang slide. Kids loved it. There's ice cream truck and chip shop truck located there which is a noce addition. The transfer from the airport took about an hour and cost about£75 euros but we needed a mini van as there are 5 with us so you may get it cheaper. We booked with costa blanca transfers and they were just fabulous. Met us at the airport and did door to door drop off. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend them. There's not a great deal to do in finestrat but of course you have benidorm close by. We walked it one time. The beach was lovely there. Overall fab holiday and would return.

Don’t listen to people complaining about the food, it’s great! Some of the reviews say that they serve Spanish food, wow hate to tell them that they are in SPAIN so there is Spanish food.
They also complain about people touching the food, not the hotels fault is it?
Another one is .....
OMG the pool is 2m deep. I understand that it is quite deep for small children but it is a FAMILY hotel so older children (like myself) like deep pools so we can dive in, it is a family resort, fun for ALL the family not just small kids.
This one is popular......
The beef burgers are pink no. They are hamburgers so they are meant to be like that!!!
Lots of people say this but again it’s not true.....
The staff are horrible and only speak Spanish. They are nice if you are nice to them. They speak English and have a laugh if you at least try to speak their language. Me and my family tried and the staff liked the fact that we made an effort.

I loved the holiday, 2nd year in a row there and we loved it soooo much. The slides are amazing. A variety of deep and shallow pools. A few different bars to get drinks.
The best hotel room I have ever been in! The balcony’s are really safe and you can see the pool from just about any room.
For ideas of what floor to recommend, I would say 3,4 and 5 as they are not to high up and you can use the steps if lifts are packed.

10000000000% want to return, hopefully I can!

Hope if you end up taking a visit to this wonderful hotel you will enjoy it as much as me and my fam did!!!

I have just returned from 9 days here. My first time in Benidorm and the last time too. We expected something really magical and luxurious but it’s really not. The high rise buildings look awful. It’s busy and sooooooooooooo noisy all the time. The staff are faultless, the rooms are massive and food is ok. We booked all inclusive plus thinking it would give us a little touch of luxury but it didn’t. The unlimited mini bar was 3 cans of beer and some juice which was re filled every two days so hardly great. We had two hours spa entry but every time (5 times) I went over to book a treatment and use it there was a sign saying closed come back in 30 minutes. Gave up in the end.

I’m unsure if there was a secret competition between the some guests to see who could be more obnoxious and rude. We saw underage girls drunk and fighting. Pensioners fist fighting over chairs and a baby went missing because the family were too drunk to notice he’d gone then they had a massive fight. It was horrifying.

100% not my kind of place. Would never go back or recommend it to anyone I know :-(
