lovely clean sandy beach, great for small children. Should be more picturesque but unfinished buildings behind it spoil that plus most of the restaurants and bars around the edge are a bit tired and tatty. That said there is a great little supermarket which does everytning you could possible want so a nice picnic would be easy to organise.

Visited the beach after a trip to old Finestrat. The skeleton hotel would be an eyesore in Benidorm, even worse here but court case means it may never be finished - such a pity as there are some lovely little cafes and bars. The beach belongs to Finestrat, off-sand you could be in Villajoyosa or Benidorm as they all merge here - must have been really beautiful before the concrete invasion encroached. Worth a visit, but wouldn't want to stay here! Did love the old town in the mountains though - a memory of how Spain was before money and greed took over.

not big but it was there. I have to say more so here goes. Small beach rocks for kids to play round. shops and cafes for drinks. eetc . BUT then the hotel is aic. Is that enough?

This once perfect little bay, with some lovely cafes facing west and perfect for a 'sundowner' has been spoiled by the ever increasing amount of buildings in the small bay. One building still looking very much the same as it did a couple of years ago and obviously work has stopped, for one reason or another and it is a real eyesore in the centre of this beauty spot.
