We have visited Tapas Pato de Oro on a number of occasions and the food has always been absolutely delicious. We always start with the mixed platter of local cheese and sliced cured meats, followed by 5 tapas dishes which we find is enough for 2 people. They have a set tapas menu printed and also daily specials on a chalk board inside the bar. The mussels with a garlic crust baked in the oven are beautiful, as is the goat’s cheese, spicy meatballs, morcilla, aubergine and chicken livers. Our bill after the mixed platter, 5 tapas dishes, large beer, bottle of water and a bottle of decent rose normally costs around 60 euro’s.
Seating is available both inside and outside of the restaurant. If tapas aren’t your thing, they do have a normal menu of starters, and main meals.
If you visit San Blas in Golf del Sur, then you must try Tapas Pato de Oro, you won’t be disappointed.
