Just returned from a week at Aguamarina Golf Apts. We were there from 9 Nov for a week on B&B.
Apartments were spotless, complex was very quiet and not busy at all.
Pool was cleaned every morning, no problems with not being able to get a sunbed.
If you leave the ticket on your door asking for your room to be cleaned, the maid will do this in the morning, if you don't have the ticket on your door it is late afternoon before your room is cleaned.

San Blas shopping centre is about 15 min walk away, turn right out of the complex and follow road round to right.

Selection of restaurants before you get to San Blas we went to Golf Park Pizza restaurant a couple of times it was excellent, would give it full marks, pasta dishes were excellent. Cost for three courses for two was €30.

When you get to San Blas there is a Chinese buffet restaurant (wok direct) and it is great too, you make your selection of ingredients (taking as much or little as you like) and then you have a choice of sauces and they cook to order in a couple of minutes at a cost of €8 per person for three (or four) courses, it was excellent.

We went to one restaurant in the square of San Blas one evening but was very disappointed, really poor quality food/presentation.

All in all, I would return for a relaxing holiday at this time of year.

Room Tip: Not all the rooms have pool/marina views, it is worth upgrading.

We arrived at the apartments on Friday 2nd November and were given a room level with and overlooking the pool area. The room itself was very clean and well presented but we were next to the walk way down to the pool.If we had sat out on our balcony for meals we would have felt like a Punch and Judy show. The receptionist agreed to change our rooms on the Sunday and ensure we had the sea view that we had requested. We went for a lovely meal at Dabna's which is a 5 minute walk from the apartments.Unfortunately there is a large building site a couple of hundred yards further down which is very unsightly-at least there was no work going on so no problems with noise! The beds were rather hard and I felt as though I had slept on Stonehenge-the main nightime disturbance was a grandaddy of a cockroach scuttling across the bathroom floor when I went in during the night-I coped well with this until I moved the door and grandma cockroach scuttled out to join her husband! This resulted in a midnight comedy show starring me and my husband as we attempted to catch the little blighters! The next day we joined other guests round the pool with beautiful view of the nearby sea. There is no beach really but we made good use of the free bus service to Playa de las americas and Los Christianos. The pool area is extremely quiet and I did feel as though we were sunbathing in a library on a couple of occassions but there is a much livelier pool area in the neighbouring hotel should you need a noisier sunbathing experience. The rooms were cleaned 6 times during our 8 day stay and the staff were polite and friendly.San Blas center is about 20 mins walk a way either by road or on the beautiful coastal path (close your eyes till you pass the building site!)and you can walk to Los Abrigos whioch is a lovely fishing village with lots of places to eat and drink overlooking the sea.On the whole we really enjoyed our stay at Aguamarina, the weather was fantastic throughout the week and we had the benefit of a low cost holiday while still being able to visit Christianos and Las americas as much as we wished.

Room Tip: Request a sunny balcony and sea view.

The rooms here are large and airy and are more than adequate for a holiday stay. The location is good - near to the rocky beach and within walking distance of San Blas. Several restaurants are on the doorstep. The resort of Golf del Sur is the best place on the island - definitely more upmarket than anywhere else.

Room Tip: All rooms appear to have a sea view.

This was our second stay at the Aguamarina Apartments this year (previously here in late March). Although our experience then wasn't that good, this was mainly due to the location of the room and the poor cleaning service (see last review). This time we had a lovely room overlooking the marina, and the cleaner was great. It was good to return, now that we knew our way round. This time we had to have the air-conditioning on all the time, the weather was so hot, but it was lovely to sit out on the balcony in the evening for a pre-dinner drink. The reception staff were great and very quick at sorting out complaints about the safe - I think it broke about 5 times during our 10 day stay, but we were used to this from our last visit.
My only gripe was that, although there is a perfectly adequate kiddies pool, some selfish parents will insist on taking their babies into the adult pool. And, if you dare to try to swim past them, they glare as if you are the one who is in the wrong. I do like to swim a few relaxing lengths but having to dodge these idiots is no fun. My friends who have children tell me that these so-called "swimming nappies" do leak, so who knows what sort of nastiness you are swimming through? Yes, I know some people do pee in the pool, but at least they aren't leaking faeces! I really feel the life-guard should have been told to keep the babies out of the adult pool. But I suppose some parents have this sense of entitlement and think that everyone should bow to their every wish, however inconvenient it is for others. There were a lot of young Spanish kids in the pool for a few days, but they could all swim really well and were no problem to anyone else (it was fun seeing them enjoying themselves so much).
There were the usual folk placing their towels on the sunbeds early in the morning and not turning up til later in the day, but this happens everywhere.
The babies in the pool annoyance is the only reason I'm giving this review 4 stars, we really had a great time and, for the price, it was terrific! We'll probably be back next year in fact!

We returned on 17th October after staying at the apartments for 2 weeks. It was the first time we had taken our 18 month old abroad. When we arrived it was late - only just made it to the 'bestbuys' supermarket that was just across the road for some water, bread, milk, yogurts etc as it closed at 9pm. The apartment was spaceous, kitchen - large fridge freezer, microwave and 2 electric hobs. We took a travel kettle knowing that a kettle was not provided. The bedroom and bathroom were again very spacious. The balcony was great for our little one - eating breakfast overlooking the pool, harbour and sea!! We were on the second floor above La Marina 2 which was a little noisy at night but that didn't bother us too much and our toddler slept ok. We walked into San Blas nearly everyday - taking us 25 minutes. We went passed the Aberdeen Steak House and used to call in for a pint of tropical (1.07 euro's until 6pm). San Blas had bars, Indian's, Chinese's and Italian food places. As we went self catering we ate from there pretty much each night. The Great Wall (Chinese) was amazing also Kohinoor (Indian). While we were there Taboo's did a 2 for 1 offer on pizza's and pasta's - they were yummy! We drank most nights at The Emerald Lounge and were made to feel very welcome by Paul and Caroline who own it. Breakfasts are the best at Arcadia. Hattie's Tea Room serves a lovely Scone with cream and Jam...:-)! The Hypermarket in San Blas was reasonable and sold anything that you needed, a taxi fare was around 5 euro's to take us back to the apartments. One day we walked to Los Abrigos...I wouldn't advise the sea front walk with a buggy!! We took the free bus into Los Cristianos but only did it the once - it wasn't worth the effort to do it again...too busy for what we went on holiday for. We will definately be going back to Aguamarina Golf Apartments next year! The weather while we were there was fabulous - highs of 33'c and only rained twice. The only downer was that the swimming pool was free form so our little one got put off when she had salt water in her eyes. We used the laundrette once - next time we go I would use a well known laundry powder as 'clean n fresh' isn't that great. I wouldn't bother with The Wild Geese - rude bar staff and the food wasn't that good.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms are the best but you may hear more noise from the restaurants below.

The apartment was great had all you would need for self catering a large fridge, microwave, oven hob and pots pans plates cups etc and cutlery
the apartment had 1 bedroom(two single beds) and sitting room with L shaped sofa which can be used as a bed, loads of wardrobes space drawers and a safe(payable daily/Weekly), the kitchen had a table which lead into sitting room, ample for 4 to 6 people to sit at, it also had a very large balcony that looked out over the pool and the sea(i would say 90% of the rooms were sea view in the apartments). The pool was salt water and sunloungers were a plenty at this time of year, there were a lot of british people in the hotel on a whole all very friendly. If you do go self catering there are restaurants outside hotel and below hotel by the beach, all very resonable priced, you can get a full english breakfast in Bistro 67 outside hotel for less than 4 euro's and menu of the day for 10 euro's ample for 2 in some cases. there is an irish pub across road with entertainment nightly and all sports shown and a little supermarket with all you need for your stay or if you can get to the mercadona to get all you need it is a lot cheaper. there is a free bus that will take you to los Cristianos and Las Americas(you need to book the day before)Market in los Christianos on Sunday). There is a travel shop under apartments which do all the trips you want Teide(20 euro's half day),whale watching on a catamaran 31 euro's half day with all food and drink beer included(we done this although a bit wavy on the day saw pilot whales and bottle nose dolphins) Aqua park(which i was told is amazing) jungle Park etc that is quite reasonable(there is a lady that comes round the hotels when coach arrives for trips and hands out brochures for Miller travel that do all there trips for 10 euro's with extras(did not try, too late in holiday but will next time) all the stafff at the apartments were very friendly although most did not speak English except for reception staff. The food at the apartments o.k( you can get fresh cuts of meat or fish cooked for you as you pick it yourself and cook will fry it for you) breakfast some times warm though. The coffee machine broke down a couple of times and the young cook put boiling water on and came over to you and asked if you need a refill until it was sorted usually within the hour(some guest had a pop at her for the machine breaking down question to them is she a cook or engineer) she did everything that she could to help out the Guests.if you get up early enough 06:00 the sky is a light with stars and at about 08:00 if in right rooms can see the sunrise There is a little town called san Blas 20 minutes walk away(if you are adventurous enough and fit enough walk straight along the beach walk, all up and down not suitable for wheelchairs or unfit people turn right by big white hotel displaying something golf begins with "T" can't remember full name lovely walk, or walk outside apartments on to main road and turn right and keep walking past aberdeen Steak house and there is a sign saying short cut to San Blas next to Nautico hotel walk straight up that street. There are a load of restaurants, Supermarket, duty free Pharmacy and loads of little electrical shops(cameras, camcorders,Ipods,Ipads etc at tax free prices) also cigarette and tobbaco(5x50 grams of Amber Leaf 19 Euros)
200 lambert and Butler gold 21 euro's
there were dolphins in the bay in front of apartments so i was told didn't see them myself but if you have binocaulars you some times see them or pilot whales in the distance normally behind little fishing boats
There is a PADI diving shop on site if you want to do diving courses also a club called Volare that has some good acts including The Temptations and a Michael Buble tribute, drinks in there 3 euro's a pint,2.5 euro's a large spirit and mixer(local)
If i go back to apartments(which i most probably will) i will go on B&B basis or self catering
as for photo's look at the mercury direct page of hotel that's about it thanks

Having stayed here two years on the trot, In October both times. I would recommend the accommodation highly. A very quite part of Tenerife, But still has a couple of bars and about 8/9 different dining experiences, My personal favourite La Marina, The waiter Angel is a true gent, and we often stayed there and had a decent chat with him. Back to the apartments when staying here you are eligible to use the hotels facility's next door. I will be going back next year with my golf clubs and shall stay here again. Can't sing the praises of this place any louder.

Room Tip: Room 323 has the sun from 11ish till 5ish, has a huge balcony and it's ground floor
