“good value for money”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 2, 2012

just returned on friday after 2 weeks all inclusive first time for us do the all in and it was everything i imagind it would be,it was good value for money, the food was repetative n a bit cold sometimes but the meats they cooked at night were realy nice and you could always find a meal what ever you taste.we asked for block a but that wasnt even open so that was a bit disapointing the sea and beaches were lovely not much else around but that tho unless you are willing get on a bus .the rooms were small but kept clean by the cleaners they work very hard to try keep every were clean pity some guests werent the same.thk kids had plenty to do and really enjoyed themselves the pools kept them entertained and we found the slides good fun although i believe they were goin to start charging you to go on them in the next couple of weeks which then doesnt make them that good fun and i personaly wouldnt pay as they are ment to be part of the hotel complex .the entertainment at night was hit and miss some nights it was funny for all the wrong reasons lol .i found some of the bar staff quite rude and miserable at times .

Room Tip: pool or sea views are the nicest

We paid around £900 for two adults and a child for 7 nights all inclusive, which is great value.

Plus points

Great beach close by ideal for kids, 3 great pools plus water slide which was awesome fun, really clean and maintained well, good selection at buffet however not loads for kids, or vegetarians but nowhere is Spain is great for vegetarians. Evening entertainment great and lots of day time entertainment if you want that. Drinks apart from spirits were self service. Hotel happy to help, we did not like the mattresses and they were swapped straight away. Free parking for hire cars, we have had to pay in some resorts before.

Minus points

Most all inclusive do snacks all day, this one only offered sandwiches between 4.30pm to 6.pm and these were very repetitive. Although the food was very good and lots to choose it was slightly repetitive and I would not have wanted to stay for 2 weeks. If you have 2 sun loungers and umbrella on the beach be prepared to shell out €15.

These are very minus points and the plus points far out way the minus ones, the restaurant staff are not the cheeriest bunch however they are certainly not rude they are just very busy and efficient at keeping the food stocked up and tables clear.

If you want a family holiday rather than a clubbing holiday then Menorca is perfect, quite quiet but lovely and really easy to drive around, get a hire car!

We usually go to this hotel twice a year, once in May and again in September. I cannot praise this hotel enough, the staff, cleanliness, entertainment and food are excellent. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and they are always very helpful, polite and friendly. There are two good size swimming pools and a lovely swimming pool for the children together with a play park. During the day there is a well organised kids club which give the parents a well deserved break. The complex is big and you can sunbathe on the grass or by the pool area, also there is a lovely grassed area overlooking the beach. The horseshoe beach is cleaned everyday and the views are magnificent. I have been to quite a few hotels in Spain and the islands but i can say that without a doubt this is the best. Book it and you won't be disappointed. Regarding block A or B there is nothing to choose between them other than a fridge and i have stayed in both blocks.

Room Tip: For an extra charge you can have a sea view with is lovely. All views from the rooms are nice whethe...

Stayed here with husband and 2 kids 8 and 2, really enjoyed it good location really near the beach. Think for a buffet style restaurant food is good, good selection of salad, pasta and hot plate chefs on at night cooking in front of you. AI is a bit repetitive in all hotels but you could eat something different most nights. Go on the trip to Mahon on the bus and then boat trip at the harbour is well worth the money to see the millionaires villas!

We have just returned from a 3 day break at this resort all inclusive. Food ok, hotel clean, drinks
great. The pools were fabulous with one adults only and one kids only which suited us as
we had our grandchildren with us.The slides were good fun and parks were brilliant for the
children. The beach is just a few minutes walk away and is fantastic with restaurants if you
feel like a change of food and to get away from the hectic dinning room at the hotel. The Thomas train is well worth a trip and stops just outside the hotel.

My only critisim would be the staff. Not very friendly and did not appear to like the kids ! The entertainment staff were great and got the kids up dancing etc.in the evenings.

We have just returned from Aguamarina hotel, the hotel is really nice lots of swimming pools and 2 really good pools for kids they have just had some waterslides put in which my 10yr old loved. The Rooms are basic but again fine no problems at all we had a family room which had twin beds and a set of bunk beds i asked to move rooms due to the evening entertainment being outside was really loud and my kids dont stay up till gone 11 the hotel were lovely and changed rooms without a problem. There was a really nice outside play area for the kids.

The food was nice not much for kids but then there was always something to eat.

This was our 1st time to Menorca and we were aware that it was a quiet island we werent really prepared for just how quiet it was there were probably 6 gift shops 3 supermarkets and a small play place for kids just up the road from the hotel that had bouncy castles and trampolines at 5euros per child so we went there each night so the kids could play just gets costly when youve got 3 kids.

The weather wasnt very good till the last few days of our hol so we hired a car for the first time ever the roads were really quiet and we never had a problem it was nice to be able to get about again most resorts are really quiet cala n bosch was lovely slightly more to do than our resort. We went on the land train that cost 30 euros for the 5 of us it only cost 75 euros to hire a car for 3 days id do that and avoid the land train

I would recomend the hotel to people as long as they knew there really wasnt anything around it. We wouldnt go back just too quiet for us menorca itself is a really beautiful island but we just like more going on.

Room Tip: I think we were in block b wasnt a problem at all

Stayed from the 11th - 18th, with the wife, 3 kids, 21 yr old daughter and her friend.
I'll be honest the first couple of days I was disappointed, we were promised block A but this was closed, the rooms were tiny, slides closed even though Thomas cook told me they were up and running before we went!
I then thought about it and for the money we paid it was great value. The food was ok, warm at best, but the kids stuffed their faces every night!
The rooms yea were tiny but we were never in them and they were kept very clean. Xino was great and kept everyone entertained in the day, although I believe he kept my daughters friend entertained a little too much at night, but hey ho.
The beach was stunning, so child friendly and clean. Entertainment at night was ok, lady gaga tribute was very good.
All in all I and the kids came back happy, would return but maybe a little later in the season as the main stage outside wAs closed and the sea was bloody freezing!!

Edit. One gripe, never been on a AI with no snack bag in the day just a tray of sarnies at 4? Advice just stuff yaself at lunchtime.
