We visited on 28th oct, a family of 5, we went because of the awards its won, what a massive disapointment, the waiter we had was a very misserable looking man! The starter were ok and quick to arrive, the mains were all disapointing, we all had chicken dishes and the chicken was hard, my madras was really bland! I cannot beleive this place has won any awards! A good bit of advice jump in a taxi go to kebabeesh or kiplings in greengates, they both do good food!!

Visited with family last night. The curry was very good. We have our regular curry restaurant but always like to try different places. All of us enjoyed starters and mains and the service was very good. Try it

My hubby had pre booked a table for two earlier in the day and this would be our first visit here. After a long and fraught day at work I was looking forward to winding down and enjoying the whole experience. WRONG!. First impression was good, shown immediately to our table which was so crowded with all sorts there was hardly room to place anything else. The menu book is huge, no chance of placing that on the table and within one minute of being given the menu we were approached and asked "are you ready to order?" "not yet thank you" I replied. Pickle tray arrived but no space on the table for it. The menu is extensive taking some sixteen pages, so really needs studying for more than a minute. I chose a chicken dish from the Desi section and hubby got a chicken Jalfrezi. Both arrived well before we had finished our 2 popadoms and pickles, again causing mayhem on the table juggling side plates, wine and water glasses, water jug, pickle tray, chapatti tray and the naan "tree" to try and make space. The waiter even tried to take our partly eaten popadoms and pickles away to make room!? My Desi dish was disappointingly bland with no depth of spices, but the Jalfrezi was flavoursome and the chapattis and naan were nice and fresh.
The staff are many and "on the ball", so much so that we felt under pressure throughout to devour our meal as fast as possible and vacate the table which we did with pleasure after I had to point out to the floor manager that the waiter who took our money for the bill did not return with the five pounds change. So from our own experience we found the whole place to be loud, bustling and edgy, not really a place to relax and savour and enjoy your curry. Oh, and IMO quite a pricey establishment too. Won't return.

We've been going here for years as it is a good venue for a family. The service is mixed; some staff are surly, grim faced while others are smiling. The fish starters and mains are excellent. Surprisingly the onion bhaji resembled onion rings. The 'hanging' naan is usually good. The sauces have good flavours, but some of the dishes are disappointing - other TA writers have given their advice.
BYO with no charge. They do provide refrigeration for any alcohol, but I suggest you hang onto it as it may take a while to get it when you want it.
The decor is getting a bit tired, and the menus could be renewed.
We will continue to go here and choose carefully as it meets our needs.

please try, you will not be disappointed, amazing food, ok prices ,bring your own drinks, good atmosphere. The best thing about this restaurant is that every curry dish that is on the menu is available with fish instead of meat .
