The food at the Shipley Health Stores food counter (Creative Breads) is phenomenal. If you had to pick just one thing then I would recommend the goats cheese sandwich which has recently been promoted from the specials board where it made occasional appearances to the regular menu. The health store itself is also brilliant and a great place to wait for your order.

This place is a real find, the bread is outstanding. It's like a little French bakery in Shipley. A vast range baked daily, with a very helpful and knowledgeable baker. Don't get your bread anywhere else!

We ordered a large number of bread rolls for a family celebration to make life a little simpler. We couldn't have been happier! What was intended to be an accompaniment made a good meal into a fantastic meal.

The advise that the baker gave us on how to refresh the rolls (we collected them on Saturday but ate them on Sunday) was extremely helpful and a fantastic level if care in their product.

Quiet simply we will not be going anywhere else for our bread ever again!

I used to go in the Healthfood store maybe once a month at most, but since the revamp, it's hard to keep me away.
The sandwiches are the best for miles: my favourite is... hmm... all of them! The bread tastes like the best bread you ever ate at a French bakery on holiday. Their soups are where they really show off what good cooks they are, with depth of flavour, good seasoning and plenty of fresh green herbs.
The friendliness just tops it off, you'll not be a stranger for long.
If you haven't been yet, get on with you, go try it now...

I know the area fairly well and it is remarkable how much the addition of one inspired restaurant can make to the community. To know that I can find a place, easy to get to, that serves 'soupe de poisson' or a lovely crunchy vegetable sandwich like no other -- get a flat white or a cappuccino, or a freshly made pizza -- makes me feel good about a neighbourhood and its potential. And the little place has become a bit of a scene where it's possible to meet new people and try new foods.
