Went here for brunch and drinks. Upon entering The Terrace it was obvious it was quite popular with quite a few people there but we found a table with no issues. After looking at the menu we ordered the club sandwich (£5.95) and Cheshire cheese baked potato (£5.25). For drinks we ordered the small latte (£1.99), rooibus tea (£1.65) and Saltaire beer (£2.70). These were all ordered with no problems, however none of the staff actually knew what the rooibus tea was upon asking, and whether or not it should be served with milk.
The club sandwich had a good filling that was evenly distributed throughout and came with a coleslaw and salad making it a good value, however we did find some foil still stuck to the bread. The jacket potato also was good value, and came with plenty of cheese and salad including a coleslaw, however the cheese wasn't Cheshire cheese and instead just a mild cheddar which was disappointing.
Overall we enjoyed our brunch here and it had a bustling atmosphere which made it a pleasant spot. Although there were minor issues with our food and service here, it wouldn't put us off visiting again.
