Great little restaurant serving delicious delicacies from the Southern state of Kerala. We ordered the veg taster plate for starters - which lets you pick 4 different starters plus a mini masala dosa. Of special mention were the quality of the dosa, the medhu vada, and the eggplant fry (all on the appetizers menu) - accompanying chutneys / dips could have had a bit more 'punch' but overall great opening the meal. Mains were Egg Curry and Veg Korma - both were very different from similar dishes I've had at other Kerala restaurants around the world, but tasty in their own right. Definitely recommend the veg korma paired with Malabar Parottas. The show-stealer was the Appam - perfectly cooked steamed pancakes that went very well with the Egg Curry. Don't forget to finish off the meal with a Masala Chai - not your British cup of tea, but aromatic cardamom infused in a full-milk-based tea. Thoroughly satisfying meal - at such a reasonable price - we will definitely be back! Our waiter Ajoy Varghese was very friendly and answered all our questions. Only suggestion would be for them to a) increase the number of waiter staff, and b) bring out the food much more 'steaming hot' rather than just warm. Otherwise, top quality Indian fare that most would never have tasted in traditional 'curry houses'.
