On trip advisor you get used to reading bad reviews but, having seen complaints about waiting times an portion sizes, I wasn't sure what to expect. However, we'd had a preview taste at the Bradford Curry Festival last year, so we wanted to try it.
Maybe it's because we went early, but we had no wait whatsoever. The staff were attentive but not intrusive and the food was spot on. As vegetarians the flavour is important, and there was no faulting that. As for portion sizes, it's fair to say I can eat a lot before Im full and I was full, as was my wife and our 4yr old who ate far too much.
The rice wasn't quite to our liking...we'd opted for the vegetable fried rice an we found it a bit oily...by it was all cooked well and I think it was more not to our taste than it was bad.
The other negative is the decor. From the website it looks very swish, when in fact it's average and some of the chairs are in a very poor state indeed. If Im being really picky, it was unclear how/if you could park outside, so we had to park on a side street.
But really, what really mattered, the curries were all brilliant, the value was fine, the experience pleasant. We enjoyed, would recommend and will be back soon!
