The tram is a whimsical delight - don't miss it if you're in the area and have young children, who will be enchanted, but adults love it too. It's basically a little tram ride up a steep wooded hill, and it takes minutes, but there is nothing else quite like it.

I go frequently but It's not very cheap despite being good fun. The kids will love it. Views are fab.

Just to advise you that this tramway is out of action but the walk through Shipley glen is worth while and from the glen you are only a short distance from Baildon moors.

This is completely untrue. The only Sunday the tramway has been closed in the past year was today (20th January), and this was due to weather conditions! You will see the full opening times on our website. Last year (2012) we had a bumper year carrying over 16,000 passengers. Please consider revising your review to reflect the true status.

A Family favorite for years. You can walk upto shipley glen or take the little tram.Children love this little train which has been kept going for many years. There used to be a little fun fair at the top but I believe that has closed.

A simple but fun way to climb Shipley Glen, taking you from just above Roberts Park towards the Glen. Worth a go after visiting Salt Mill, the drivers are very friendly too! Support the cause!
