The Port House is a very smart B&B with staff who care. Forget the proximity to the port etc. and walk 10-15 minutes into the lovely old world village of Heysham with its historic church. Rooms at the Port House are spacious, modern and v comfortable.

Stayed here night before taking ferry to Isle of Man. Spotless light airy room, with best bed we have ever slept in, as comfy as our own. Decent shower with lovely soaps etc. Large fluffy towels. Lady of the house recommended Pub in village for evening meal, excellent!
Breakfast at Port House was also excellent. Cannot find anything to fault. We paid a small daily fee to park our car for the few days we were in Isle of Man.
Although it was opposite container yard I have given it very good for location as it is not too far to walk to ferry and village.

I can only add to the positive reviews this establishment already enjoys.
The rooms are spacious, clean, warm and very well appointed to a very high standard. The Breakfast choice is good and well cooked. All the staff very friendly indeed and nothing was too much trouble.
We loved it and will stay again next time we are in the area

Room Tip: room 1 suite excellent

Had a good stay here, rooms were spotless, comfortable and very nice decor. Very good choice for breakfast and very well presented. Went here on business with my partner and will definitely use this lovely B&B in the future.

Stayed here in September for 1 night. We had one twin room and the executive suite. Both rooms were really great. Exceptionally comfortable beds, large rooms, very tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean with a range of complimentary good quality toiletries.. The hotel is soundproofed and this coupled with the comfy beds ensure a great nights sleep. There is off road parking. You can pre order your breakfast the night before and this is freshly cooked with additional cereals, toast jams etc.. The owner is really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is down a quiet lane approx 3 or 4 miles from the centre of Morecambe.. Having stayed in accommodation in the area before this tops them all. Well done for the work put in to fully renovate this property. I would not hesitate to stay again or recommend to others whether on business or leisure trip...
