“The pool costs 195 SEK”
Reviewed May 10, 2014

We were very disappointed to find that the pool cost extra, given the price of the room we expected it to be included. In fact we specifically booked this location for the pool.

The hotel is also quite far from the shops / town.

My partner was unable to sleep in the bed, as it sank in the middle..

Nice location and a very impressive building itself. Connected with the city center by public transportation (bus and boat) very quiet place with excellent view
Very close to Hamarby, a modern neighborhood of Stockholm where you can have a walk (especially a sunny morning)
Rich breakfast, friendly staff, all facilities you can expect from a modern hotel.
The only disadvantage is the prices of the Spa center. It cannot possibly be that good...An hour should not cost more than 80% of the room rates. I would not recommend it if you are not a Russian Oligarch (I thing I 've seen a few by the way)

Room Tip: Rooms without sea view don't have real windows but transom windows instead. If you can afford th...

We stayed at the hotel for four nights. To start from the room was really cold and no one showed to us how the heating system was working. Also the water in the bathroom was not so hot. Breakfast was ok but not so rich for a four star hotel as this. The worst part was when checking out. We asked to a girl in the reception in they would accept euro and she said that they would but they would buy in the lowest price of euro we accepted this and went to pay next day but there was another girl in the reception told us that if we wanted to pay in euro we had to give 10% comission! Which means we had to pay 45 euro more!Of course if we knew that before we would have change money to exchange center and pay much little but since it was our last day we had no time to do so.. So if you decide to stay there I suggest to ask more that two persons in the reception. Also the entrance to the spa is extra change..not mentioned when we booked!

Room Tip: Rooms at the south side are noisy

I made a last minute booking for a Superior Room with sea view, and due to the Long weekend rush the room I got was with a partial view. After checkin, I provided this feedback to the front desk and they more than compensated in 10 mins...It seems like the pictures shown on Booking website is not as per actuals (tip). I agree with the earlier review that the service level is not consistent and depends on who is in charge at a particular time. For a place so remote, I expect nothing short of exceptional service ( I am pampered by Asian hotels )....I recommend this place to get away from the busy world... Try their Spa...But be aware that there is an entry price to the pool as well ( again the website missed informing this but I did not care)...the breakfast includes all that you wish for after a few laps in the pool....

Excellent place to stay for business.

Good quality rooms - clean, comfortable and equipped with all the latest tech gizmos.

Very friendly staff.

Hotel is located just next to the "seaside".

Do take a note that if you want to dine somewhere else than at the hotel it requires you either to catch a taxi or to walk quite some distance.

A group of us stayed for our granddaughter's christening. We had a brilliant time. All the staff were fantastic and so helpful. One of our party left a dress behind but Emma from the hotel very kindly sorted it out and it was posted on to us in England. My sister used the pool which she said was amazing. The rooms were so comfortable. The bus into Stockholm was so easy to use. We can't imagine choosing another hotel. Thank you to all the staff for a great time.

About 10 minutes by car; 25 minutes by bus from central Stockholm. Would recommend without a car as water transport is an option during the Summer.
Beautiful pool and leisure facilities. Although busy plenty of room at self-service buffet breakfast. Other meal options looked excellent although we ate in Stockholm during our stay.
Pleasant staff and very helpful regarding assistance and advise.
Can't beat the location for waterside views; large cruise ships will pass and envy you staying in such a terrific hotel

Room Tip: No 53 route.- get off at Saltsjöqvarn. Poorly signposted but left off the bus and right after the bu...
