We bought a condo around the corner in Hammarby Sjostad and wanted to get to know the area better so I stayed there to better understand my new commute to work.

The building is stunning and combines old charm with state of the art modern architecture and style. The room was massive and clean. Bed was great and the whole experience was a pleasure.

The ferry ride to the city was equally impressive as there is a stop outside the front doors. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends and family when they come to visit. Wow, Elite Hotels know what they're doing!

I had a room to the back, i.e. no view so if you are staying at this hotel make sure it is one with a view. Otherwise I honestly cannot see the point staying here since the location is a bit off.

OK size bedroom with a quite small bathroom. Nice breakfast with a good selection. There is a boat service available to take you into the city c which is a nice touch.

Of the 5 Hotels we (2 adults) stayed at in Sweden this was by far the best. Clean, great room and included an outstanding breakfast. First the con---finding the hotel. It took almost two hours just to find it. The people are very nice in Stockholm...BUT DON"T KNOW WHERE ANYTHING IS (this also went for the hotel staff . We found this the case all over Sweden. Parking was a bit strange but we never took the car out. We used the water taxi. You can also walk into town. Breakfast was great and nicely arranged. We did not eat in the dining room but did have drinks and watched the soccer match in the lobby with other guests. We highly recommend this hotel----you will be very pleased if you are willing to pay the price.

Room Tip: Non-Smoking and a view of the water!

The hotel emerged from a restoration of an old meal. IT was nice to have a room on the tower, wide windows providing panorama view of the in-harbour of Stockholm. One can watch the cruise ships floating in and out...! The room was nice, spacious and cosy with a touch of elegance and luxury. The personnel is nice service minded and pleasant to deal with...........! The dinner and the lunch was so so but the breakfast was nice. Its warmly recommended if one wants to live by the water and still near to the city facilities............

The most important thig first: this is a very good hotel and was at least at the time being (april) very reasonably priced (130 euro for huge deluxe room with beautiful sea view). The design is stylish (this is Sweden after all...), the breakfast room is very nice and the buffet excellent: even vitamins are included! The location is slightly outside of the city centre but this is compensated by total silence and being directly on the water front. There are boats, buses and taxis into the centre, which takes 10-15 minutes. A few drawbacks: when we arrived loud music was played in the bar spilling over into the front desk. For those not in a disco mood this was uncomfortable and deviated from the stylish atmosphere. The breakfast is only available to 9.30 on weekdays which can make the morning a bit stressed. Strangely enough there are no international newspapers in the breakfast room and as this is Sweden, there is not much staff at the hotel. But if you´re prepared to carry your own bags you´re in for a treat!

A very clean and modern hotel in a superb location if you dont mind a ten minute boat ride from the front of the hotel to the central city. The staff were a little lacking in service - particularly in the bar which looks great but be prepared to wait for a drink. We were dissapointed that when we requested a cocktail approx 30 minutes before the bar closed we were told that all the cocktail mixing equipment was in the dishwasher!! Not to be expected in this type of modern hotel. The breakfast buffet had everything you could wish for and more... including vitamin tablets in the line up! We ate in the restaurant for an evening meal but the service was quite intermittent but good when it was there. Our room was superb - well worth paying the extra for a water view where you can lie in bed and watch the boats go by in the day and the lights across the water during the night. The little ferry picks you up right outside the hotel and you can be in Grona Lund within a few minutes (well worth a visit and then walk up to the open air museum at Skansen especially if you have little ones) or stay on the boat for another five minutes and be in the central city.....beautiful, not at all crowded and plenty of sights to take in and enjoy. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in style and be a short distance from the centre.

Room Tip: Pay a bit extra for a view of the water........

Despite being off the beaten track, this is an extraordinary hotel that is instantly relaxing. Great views, superb breakfast, but you can't walk into town so it's either the bus or a taxi. Definitely worth the trip though
