We stayed at the Residenza dei Cappuccini in the Tau unit. The owners are very friendly people who go above & beyond to make your stay pleasant; they offered restaurant & sight seeing advice. The unit is spacious, clean, & quiet. The WIFI was not working properly during our stay but the modem was being replaced so it probably is fine now. I was so glad after getting to Spello that I was staying in the historic section it has much more character & charm. Be advised that the historic section is very hilly and the roadways are rough & narrow, but this is part of the charm. We used the advice to try the restaurant just up the road (walking) from the hotel. We liked it so much that we went back a second night. The restaurant is "Osteria del Buchetto" just a short walk up the hill Via Cappuccini 19. The restaurant is closed on Wednesday, but has lunch hours, closes in the afternoon then opens at 7:30 for dinner. The parking area was not far from the apartment at all & we never had any problems with space to park.
