We've been to a few Premier Inns now, so it is always my first choice when looking for a hotel. This time we were going to a concert at Wembley Stadium and as i objected to paying well over £150 to stay near the venue, I found this Premier Inn for just £59 and about 20 minutes away (by car) from the stadium. We arrived two hours before normal check in time on the off chance that we'd get in early and we were lucky. The room was the usual spacious Premier Inn family room and faced onto the car park at the back so was nice and quiet. We did notice that there was a big building site next to the car park, so although that was quiet on a Sunday morning it might not be during the week. Probably worth asking before your room is allocated. The hotel was quiet at night too. We decided to have beakfast in the morning, particularly to make use of the "under 16's eat free" offer. We got there towards the end of the session and things were starting to run out, but it was pleasant enough. All in all it was a good stay and the staff were all very nice and helpful, something we've found at every Premier Inn we've been to.

Room Tip: The car park side was quiet at the weekend; but ask about the building site during the week.

I have stayed at the premier Inn Borehamwood on a number of occasions as it very handy and a lot cheaper than central london hotels, if I am attending something in Central London and wish to travel down to London from home by car rather than train. The last time was to attend an event at Wembley on one day, and then go into central London the next.
The hotel is a typical premium inn, giving a good standard of accomodation at a reasonable price, although you need to book in advance to get the best rates. I am down in the area again in two weeks, and the price quoted was much higher than from the Ibis down the road I have booked the Ibis instead.
The hotel has everything that you would expect, including tea and coffee making facilities, and was very clean, and all the staff we met were very friendly. We found the hotel to be reasonably quiet. The bed itself was a bit bouncy and not firm enough for my liking, but I still got a reasonable nights sleep.
We didn't eat at the hotel, but did use the bar, which was ok. It was open until 1am on the Saturday we attended.
Breakfast was reasonably priced, however as we weren't particularly hungry we went to the Macdonalds in Borehamwood, which is less than a mile away opposite the Tesco entrance on the way into the centre of Borehamwood.
If travelling into London we park at the Borehamwood station, which costs £2 at the weekend to park, and from which you can use Oystercards, it is then around 25 minutes into central London, and there are usually at least 2 trains per hour. If going to Wembley, we drive to Harrow on the Hill or Stanmore and catch the tube, the advantage of using these stations particularly Harrow is that you are going the opposite direction to most other people leaving an event, and can be back in your car quickly afterwards.

Stayed here as it was the closest available hotel to Wembley stadium at a reasonable price. Everything else was really expensive or full.

Easy to get to as its 2 miles from the M25, just watch the slip road leaving the A1 (and rejoining!)

Good parking, although its in the middle of a refurb, so there's construction work in the car park

Friendly welcome by the reception on arrival, a quick cup of tea, and then to Wembley.

If you're going to an evening event allow a good hour to get to Wembley, as the traffic does build up at various locations.

A great night seeing Springsteen at Wembley, we left before the end, which meant our journey back was half the time of getting there.

The hotel was very quiet, we didn't hear any other guests during the night, so we had a good nights sleep.

Room was clean, as was the bathroom.

We'd booked a family room, so my 8 year old had a proper bed, not a sofa bed.

Breakfast was fine, usual Premier Inn

Would I stay here again, probably, although had I known that South Mimms Premier Inn is only a couple more miles further on, I'd stay there as it was cheaper than this one.

There's also a Travelodge & Holiday Inn in the same locality as this Premier Inn

A good value hotel quite close to Wembley and London. Rooms, service and food were all very good. We stayed for a concert at Wembley and used a taxi to get to the venue which was very reasonable on price and a lot less hassle than public transport. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Room Tip: All rooms ok but less road noise at the back.

Really clean and tidy as you would expect. Restaurant was really nice and the family meal deal for £31 was good value. We stayed here as we didnt want to take the car into London. We used to travel to High Barnet station (15mins) and park there all day for £5 mid week and £1.50 weekends. Travel cards into London were £8.20 and the journey to Embankment area was about 45mins. The only problem we had at this hotel was that we arrived back late one night and there was no parking left. This was due to the existing building work going on there. A container takes quite a few spaces and work vans of guys working there also take up some spaces. We had to park on a side road next to the hotel with less security but thankfully no problems. All in all a bargain stay.
