Perfect Location if you are going to watch something in Elstree Studios, Right on the High-street so easy access to shops etc, small car park at the back, Rooms Clean, Staff Freindly enough at Check in, Its not 5* standards but then it doesn't claim to be, it is absolutely fine if your just looking for a bed for the night :)

Booked last minute for a trip to Elstree Studios, lots of other hotels either booked up or too expensive, read the reviews on here and decided as it was one night to book it.
On arrival we were welcomed and shown to our room, had booked a double but was given the option of a twin instead which was in a quieter part of the building as the double was at the front over the pub on the main road. Chose to stay in the double. Had tv in room with Sky, tea and coffee and compact toilet and shower. Kept window closed due to noise which made the room quite warm, but the noise from the pub was not too bad even after we had gone to bed. As we were visiting Elstree Studios early the next morning asked about the best car park to use and was told that we could keep the car on their car park for the day, the studios are a 5 minute walk. The only negative was the bed was a bit uncomfortable feeling the springs in the mattress, but would definately come here again.

Stayed here for 1 night with friend. Very welcoming staff, all basic facilities provided. Perfect location for shops, restaurants and Elstree studios. Couldn't find any major problems. Would stay again, please ignore all negative comments as you definately get what you pay for.

Shower was a ghastly preformed piece of plastic, you stand in the shower tray to use the basin

No hot water, no plug in basin, basin cracked, very tired and shabby hotel, but ok if you are desperate and don't mind noise from the High Street.

All electrical appliances over a year past their PAT test.

The housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired, thick layer of grime on top of mirror.

Not a nice place to stay

Room Tip: Pay a little more and stay somewhere else if you want a good nights sleep

This "Inn" made Faulty Towers look fantastic.

From outside the Inn looks a real dump and rather sleezy. It is above a pub and there was a smell of cigarette smoke from some rooms.

The receptionist was rather rude and unhelpful.

The bedroom was just about clean and sheets OK, but our toilet didn't flush and there were 50 shades of pubic hair in the one of the baths (in a friend's room) and our shower was cold with a very weak flow of water.

There was a hairdryer in our room which didn't work and was so hot it looked like it would explode. No electrical items had been recently PAT tested.

The receptionist was well aware that most of the hair dryers didn't work and had one functioning hair dryer in reception, but did not inform of this upon our arrival.

The beds were ancient and bow-liked, our sheets were clean.

It was very expensive for what it was and there was no breakfast included.

I would never ever come here again!!! Not fit to board animals.

Room Tip: Don't come here!
