I've stayed at the Cartland Bridge on many occassions over the past 12 months I am always made to feel very welcome. All the staff are very professional in their work and make you feel "at home". Nothing is too much trouble for them, the food is of the highest standard, freshly cooked to your requirements. Rooms are spacious and clean with everything you need during your stay. It sits in excellent well maintained grounds and will always be my first choice for accomodation when in the area.

Stayed at the Cartland in February for a stress busting weekend. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Miss Best Western (she will know who we mean) was an absolute star and went out of her way to provide for our needs. The rest of the staff are also a credit to the hotel as is Robert Duncan, the manager. The hotel is stunning, with fantastic views. The location is brilliant. The rooms are excellent and the food and service is spot on. We hope to return on another road trip. Ps Robert have you got the photos up yet?

I've stayed at the Cartland Bridge regularly since discovering it in April'12. I am alays made welcome, have never experienced any problem and wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else when working in Strathclyde. The location and views are wonderful, the rooms spacious, clean and well maintained. The staff are without exception friendly and helpful, and nothing is ever too much trouble. Although a regular business traveller I had enthused about it so much that my wife called my bluff so we spent a pre-Christmas shopping weekend here in December.....she is also now a devotee of the Cartland Bridge! If you're looking for somewhere near Glasgow, whether business or pleasure, don't even consider anywhere else.........you won't regret it.

Room Tip: 102 has huge bed and fantastic views from 4 windows!

With so many hotels closed on New Years day we were so pleased to find the Cartland Bridge open. Lunch was fabulous, and the staff were really friendly. Tables were set beautifully, in a plush dining room with views of the gardens. Very reasonably priced too. Will definately return and highly recommend. First class fab hotel.

Thank you for posting your review following your New Years Celebration here at the BEST WESTERN Cartland Bridge Hotel. I am pleased that you enjoyed your night. The homemade strawberry shortbread tower is usually a great favourite but I am pleased to say that we have already decided on a new sweet for next Hogmanay and that is a Cartland Crannachan.
Thanks again. Have a fantastic 2013.

My son got married on the 10th Nov at the Cartland Bridge and the whole day was wonderful and nothing was any trouble for the staff, food was great, pipping hot, rooms were very clean, we stayed for two nights, evening meal and breakfast was delicious, lots of family members and guests at the wedding commented on how beautiful the hotel was, it turned out the perfect location and a big thank you to Robert and his team for making the day very special indeed.
