Good coffee, tea and 'breakfast' type meals. Good service, pleasant staff.
Decor is old fashioned and tired and it is odd that you have to walk outside and around to sit outside - but they do serve your food outside. The hedges obscure the view of the lake, also a shame. Nice clean loos.

Good homemade soup, coffees, good service and a reasonably priced menu. Indoor and outdoor seating caters for all weather.

We stopped here for a fry up before a days hiking. we arrived at about 9.15 and were told we could order but the chef wouldn't be starting until 9.30. we thought this was okay so ordered ourselves some greasy grub and had tea's and coffee's while we waited.
Our grub arrived about 20 mins later, and it was epic! You get a lot for your money and it was brilliant quality. Really set us up for the day! Would recommend.

It always amazes me why these places situated with potential stunning views do not capitalise on it. This little cafe served us a very nice fry up but I felt as if I was sitting in the 1970's. there is a window to the south which obscures the stunning view of the lake by overgrown trees and shrubs,I felt like doing a bit of pruning whilst waiting. The other view to the east is blanked out by a room length mirror! Put a window in and share the vista! The service was quick and friendly and the food ok. Also nice coffee. The bench seats felt as though they had come strait from a 18th century welsh chapel, and yes are just as uncomfortable.

Im a regular here and often recomend visitors to visit, the selection of ice cream is breath taking and all food is prepared to order.
Virtually located on the lake shore this is a very busy cafe and believe they cater very well for the high volumes. I look forward to my mid morning coffees
