This is charming cottage in the old part of Porthcawl. Less than half mile from the beach and in the opposite direction through the underpass you are in the town. the cottage its self has two well equipped bedrooms and downstairs period furnishings. We'll worth the stay
Walking distance to town and beach. Good quality bedding, towels and furnishings exactly as the pictures show.If you are with small children note there is a very light carpet throughout. Only a couple of very small negatives, lack of loo roll when we arrived, dishcloth and pan scrub needed renewing. Small table at front of property with only 2 chairs not really suitable for outside dining, otherwise fantastic , we will be booking again.
Quaint little cottage - a real home from home. Within walking distance of shops so you don't need to do a big shop before u arrive. Newton beach was beautiful - not overcrowded like a lot of beaches. The goody pack awaiting your arrival is a lovely touch - especially the wine. Grandchildren want to know when we can go again. Would definitely recommend.
Super little cottage set back from the road affording it privacy that I wouldn't expect given it's central location. Very well equipped with nice touches like a welcome pack, tea and coffee plus a very welcome bottle of red wine. Good wifi, warm heating, a lovely realistic (gas) log fire and Philip (the local property manager) was very helpful. All in all a great little find.
