As a local it's a very lovely place to visit...
The staff are very nice and welcoming they always seems to be cheerful even if its wet cold and miserable
The seafood platter is wonderful I'm still waiting for the prawns which I was promised :)
However it is a very peaceful place with plenty character.
Therefore my husband and I where very disappointed to discover that they have a very limited menu and we spoke to the staff who told us that they didn't have vegetarians at the centre of the menu if the vegetarians wernt willing to eat seafood... and that we could go for a veggie burger and chips which was much cheaper at a place called 'Creggans' we where certainly not greatly impressed with this even though we are local we where with them at the pier house which we had booked and where looking forward to for our anniversary, we got the bill after the player and left it won't put us off thoughts we love the cosy bar area and always get a lovely reception from Jeff (the bar man)
Meals are average prices and presentation is lacking the wow factor but if you are after a seafood meal with staff who recommend other places its for u!!!!!!
