The review title tells it all. No meaning to waste words here: bad service, tasteless food, few options

Always lovely arriving at the restaurants in the bay by 'water taxi' at night time.

The food we had was good, well cooked and tasty. I had Shrimp on a bed of crushed herb potato with vegetables. Lots of fat succulent shrimp, more than enough, vegetables good.

Limited menu. Husband had surf and turf, but had to buy the 3 course set price menu for $125 EC ($45 USD), although he only wanted the main course, however it was still worthwhile.

Service was warm, friendly with time to politely chat to make you feel welcome. Service was relaxed but faster than normal Caribbean pace.

Would go back again, but not rush back eagerly.

We went early and had good service and a good "jerk" chicken, salad and fries. 2 people with a rum punch " very good authentic" $29. US. Roads kind of rough getting there.

We went there twice while staying at a hotel in the bay. We also tried all the other restaurants in the bay and JD's has by far the best food, the friendliest staff and is good value for money compared to other restaurants.
Great view out onto the bay and the sunset.

Our best dining experience in the bay without a doubt. All fresh and prepared right. All friendly service by Glenda, Toya and Justin, who based on another review might be the J in the JD. We visited twice and experienced a front row seat to a magnificent sunset. Not to be missed. We sampled the special, which consisted of a creole chowder. A red based strained soup, so do not expect the lumps of fish, vegetables or other ingredients, but it is great. Mahi, which was cooked to perfection, which means still moist and a desert. On the second visit we sampled the garlic prawns and salads. If you do need to visit facilities during your visit to this restaurant, that becomes an experience in it's own right at night, as explained by Justin and experienced by the wife. Quite fun experience and we would go back anytime to JD's.
