Stayed in Apt 7A just for one week ( not enough ) great waking up having breakfast with a View --- yatchs coming and going large and small -- spent the days around the bay, dinner all with a bay view.

This is a wonderful place to spend a winter get-away. We spent 17 nights at this wonderful airy apartment "sitting on the dock of the bay". The breeze on the very large porch is probably the highlight of our 2 plus weeks. Every morning and every evening you watch Marigot Bay come to life and put itself back to bed. Fabulous boats come and go everyday with crew and guests who all seem awestruck with the beauty of Marigot Bay.
We were able to try every eating establishment in the area including the street food served from simple Caribbean shacks. All the food was excellent. It would be hard to pick a favorite. Chateau Mygo was probably our "go-to" place as you could get excellent Pizza or Pasta dishes with a Lucian Flair but the Indian place next door, Marsala, may offer the best service and our guests ranked it their favorite even though they were not very familiar with Indian food. Be sure to try Julietta's,the Rain Forest and Pirate's Cove as well. The music at Mygo/The Rain Forest and Pirates Cove is fun. You'll hear some of it just coming across the water as you relax on the porch into the evening. You'll like what you hear!
We liked having a complete kitchen and a spacious inside living area but 90% of the time you'll want to be on the porch feeling the breeze. We left things wide open at night and never once turned on the A/C to tell you how comfortable the breeze made it.
Having access to both Capella Resort and it's pools as well as the beach across the Bay near Doolittle's gave us a choice of spots to relax on all the days we had not planned excursions on the water.
We only rented a car for the last 2 days which worked well for us, taking water taxi's for a day going both north (to Rodney Bay/Pigeon Island) and south (to the Piton's) gave us plenty of time to check out other areas. You can book a sunset sail in the adventures shop just below the apartment and they picked us up off the dock on the way south towards the Pitons and Souffieire.
If you do go, make an effort to have a really special lunch at the Pink Plantation which requires a cab or car as it overlooks Castries.
The apartment is perfect for 4 people, or a small family that will not be bored with a slow pace for a week or more. There is plenty to do and explore but you need to be willing to be independent. This is not an all-inclusive situation where everything is laid out for you, we like that. You feel much more like you have been to St Lucia after spending time here. We would definitely return.

We had a great two week holiday here over Xmas and New Year, with our two children (11 & 7). The first floor apartment was clean, in great condition & extremely spacious with all modern amenities. We loved the balcony equipped with lounge chairs and terrific views across the bay.
The location is brilliant: right by the seafront & the ferry jetty: there's a convenience shop downstairs for your basic needs, but we dined out regularly at the 4 restaurants easily accessible in a short walk or on the free foot ferries.
The apartment is granted access to the premium Capella resort nearby with its pools, sun-loungers, gym & restaurants.
Pauline (who greeted & looked after us) was a tremendous help, giving us great advice & recommendations.

A spacious 2 bedroom apartment facing the Marina dock, exactly as described, in a great location.
Well equipped and everything worked. My wife reckoned a bit more elbow grease with the cleaning would have completed the satisfaction level.
Taxis to and from airport were arranged along with car hire help make a stress free holiday

We kept pinching ourselves as we stayed in this clean, light, beautiful apartment overlooking the bay. What a delight to watch boats come and go. We made use of the beautiful Capella Resort with its pools, restaurants, fitness center and spa. The close by restaurants were a delight. It was easy to walk downstairs for a cup of coffee and fresh bread. The well equipped kitchen made it possible to prepare our meals too. I would highly recommend this place for as many as 5 people to enjoy the most relaxing time you can imagine. Our family of four adults cannot say enough nice things about our stay. Thank you! We will return!

The APT was clean --well maintained -- always felt safe -- everything worked -- eating our meals on the patio was out of this world -- great views -- boats in and out -- the Island was quite slow so driving about was easy had lunch in many roadside Cafe's all good local food.
Would recommend 7A Marina Village and St Lucia to all.
I stayed her for two weeks in June at the accommodation was excellent, the position perfect and the views stunning. Some times there is little more to say than that.
The property is owned by an English man who has a Lady who looks after the property originally from England who will organize transfers to and from the hotel her husband also has a boat which can be booked for trips along the coast. The apartment benefits include the use of the Capella Hotel next door which is a five star hotel with wonderful pools and restaurants. all of the main restaurants are no more than a few minutes walk or a short free water taxi to. There is no need to hire car and if you want to you can hire a car from the resort for the days you need. Truly a stunning location.
