“Hidden Paradise”
Reviewed March 2, 2015 for a stay in February 2015

Wow!! This was truly an unexpected pleasure and wonderful hidden paradise. Our hosts, Josee and Pierre, were most helpful in making our visit to St Lucia memorable. From airport pickup through providing introductory drinks and appetizers, stocking the refrigerator for the first morning breakfast, arranging car rental and boat excursions, and tips on island happenings, these hosts were readily available and delighted to help us in any way. We arranged to have the top villa of the three available. It was exceptionally clean, had a well stocked kitchen with appliances and utensils, plenty of linens, and maid service. And to top it off, fantastic dining from a panoramic view balcony. The salt water pool was a luxury and provided an opportunity to meet other guests. We found new friends in Josee and Pierre and truly hated to leave.

We spent 2 weeks in the upper 2 bedroom unit, sharing it for the first week with our son and his girl. It is very comfortable with lovely Caribbean feel and a stunning view of the cove 5 minutes walk away. We woke to lovely birdsong and I swam laps in the salt pool every morning looking up at a lush canopy of fragrant flowers. The double balcony was great for family dinners. The hosts, Josee and Pierre were gracious, helpful and very accommodating. Daily we did the 20 minute steep walk to the village and a public beach and restaurants. The Capella coffee shop has a nice breakfast menu and great cappuccino. There's a hut with tasty local takeout, and I got some beautiful locally made earrings for next to nothing at the wharf. A further walk to Julietta is worth it for the stunning view and nice lunch. We don't recommend Chateau Mygo..pricey and disappointing. The snorkeling in the nearby cove was a challenge for us (rocky) but should be good for adventurers, and the stairs (50-70 depending on your unit) make this spot inaccessible for anyone with mobility issues. Fortunately we don't yet have those issues, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. By the time we left we felt like we were living in slow motion, a perfect hot, sunny, tranquil antidote to northern winters.

“Perfect mix of relaxation and adventure”

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at Villa Pomme d'Amour. Pierre and Josee were wonderful, welcoming us with rum punch (the best on the island) and bruschetta, breakfast makings, and helping us get oriented to plan out the week. I truly feel that you can't get a better value on the island. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 7 days and rented a car (organized by Josee several months prior) for 5 days. The first and last day we spent on the property and in Marigot Bay. For the most part we walked into town each night for dinner. It's a 15 minute walk if you take it slow, and quite dark and windy. The first night Pierre drove us into town and picked us up which was really nice. He also drove us to the grocery store the next morning where we supplemented our breakfast food and bottled water for the rest of the week.

During the week we drove all over the island visiting different beaches and sights with guidance from Josee. Driving is an adventure unto itself with the windy, steep roads with no shoulder, but people are more than willing to help you with directions if you lose your way. We would highly recommend the sulphur springs, lunch at Ladera Resort and snorkeling at Sugar Beach, Jade Mountain's beach and also Ti Kaye Village's beach. The best dinner we had for the value was a the restaurant in Pigeon Island National Park. The food was delicious and cheap!

We spent our entire last day at Ti Kaye and rented chairs for the day, ordered lunch and drinks from their beachside bar and snorkeled. Don't bother getting the day pass, it's not worth it. We drove there, but if you can set up a water taxi to get you there and pick you up for a reasonable price that might be better as you'd avoid their terrible road.

Thanks so much to Josee and Pierre. We hope to return soon.

“A tranquil vacation spot that you will never want to leave.”
Reviewed January 8, 2015 for a stay in December 2014

I can't put into words how much you will enjoy staying with Josee and Pierre. Not only are they very knowledgeable about the island; Josee takes such good care of you no matter what you are looking to do.
2 of my friends and I stayed in the upper villa and we spent every morning listening to the ocean and watching the boats pass by. The balcony is a beautiful place in the morning and the evening. The pool is very refreshing when you come home from a day of fun. We went snorkeling in the cove and saw many beautiful fish.
The rooms are spacious with good storage and you can open the room to the beautiful Caribbean breeze. Nights are quiet and restful...a perfect vacation getaway!
I highly recommend staying at Villa Pomme D'Amour, I will be going back!

“Very nice place to stay and very private but near Marigod Bay”
Reviewed January 4, 2015 for a stay in December 2014

Having coffee and breakfast on our balcony overlooking a small bay and the ocean. Very lush and tropical. Owners picked us up at the airport and provided food for the first dinner and breakfast. Then took us to a store for groceries the next morning. Arranged a rental car and help plan outings to the rainforest and snorkeling. If you like to be away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas, then this is a great option. You can walk to Marigod Bay. We loved exploring the island both the rainforest and snorkeling and historic sites and then returning to our private villa.

“A home away from home”
Reviewed December 27, 2014 for a stay in December 2014

Josee and Pierre are terrific hosts: kind, accommodating, and very knowledgeable of the island. Their villa is beautifully designed and secluded, spacious and above all, comfortable.

The hosts' great attention to detail was shown through the many amenities and comforts of home provided. Josee was vital in organizing our adventures around the island and they made sure the entire family had a great time.

The kids especially enjoyed the beautiful pool, the BBQ, and had a lot of fun with Pierre. We would definitely stay at the Villa Pomme D'amour again.

Thank you Josee and Pierre!
