We stayed the second week of December. What a great place to visit. The view was almost as amazing as the service Normand provided. It was a great alternative to the soulless all-inclusive and the uber expensive resorts around the Pitons. We did a lot of excursion during the days, that Normand helped arranged and had some wonderful dinners on the bay in the evening. It's a huge bonus that Normand will drive you to and from the Bay. The climb back to the hotel would not be fun. Overall, a great place to stay and I highly recommend it.

As with so many very special first-place hotels and inns on Tripadvisor, what makes The Inn on the Bay so very special is the attitude of the hosts. The place is beautiful, the views are incredible, the pool is lovely, but best of all the two owners are very friendly, attentive, willing to help out with anything you need. It was a wonderful introduction to St Lucia.

We have just returned from a winter tour of Saint Lucia and spent 1 very relaxing week at the Inn On The Bay with Normand and Louise as our impeccable hosts. We wanted to avoid the large all-inclusive hotels that you find on holidays in the Caribbean and the "inn" or " Mick's Place" as alluded to in other reviews was an excellent choice. We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed chatting to other guests over breakfast before spending most days relaxing by the pool. Then in the evening Normand would kindly make reservations for dinner at one of the restaurants in Marigot Bay (Rainforest Hideaway - was our favourite) and drive you down to an awaiting Free water taxi which takes you across the bay to the restaurant - very romantic.

My husband and I recently spent 4 nights at Inn on the Bay. What a great stay! The view from the Inn is absolutely breathtaking. Our room was modern and spotless. We loved spending our days out by the pool so much that we didn't venture out to sight see as much as we were planning on but went out to dinner three times at great restaurants recommended by our hosts Normand and Louise. We had a rental car but Normand is happy to drive guests down to dinner and back. The breakfasts in the morning were great-fruit, cheese, homemade muffins, peanut butter, bread, jam, coffee, and juice. We would stay again without hesitation.

We spent 7 nights in the Inn on the Bay. It is a beautiful place, but only Norman and Louise make it to a very special place. They always take care of your wishes, have good recommendations for the whole island and last but not least drive you down and up for dinner as the all the restaurants are down in the Bay. I would definitively recommend this place and if possible we would like to come back immediately.

No. The Eagles were not guests, but the cruise ship catamaran excursions to beautiful Marigot Bay kept telling their passengers that the building high on the hill was Mick Jagger's place! Rather than repeating all the previous reviews, let me just say that they nailed it, I have never seen a place with all the Trip Advisor ratings maxed out. It is almost like staying with relatives, but without the disadvantages! You can relax all day or go for some adventure; e.g. Normand hurtling you down the hill to the village in his Honda station wagon free shuttle. We had a car, but used the shuttle in the evenings to enjoy the different restaurants. We stayed 7 relaxing days and enjoyed it immensely. While we were there, the clientele was very international - British, Danish, Spanish, Canadian, American, and of course our French Canadian hosts Normand and Louise. We would eat Louise's delicious breakfasts on the pool deck and talk and learn about each of the guests. Normand will arrange for anything you need or want to do from bicycling to zip lining. It is a privilege to be one of the 10 guests.

Room Tip: We had a room with good cross ventilation - Room 1, I think. Room 5 is the most private for newlywe...

Just spent 9 nights here . I don't like to miss anything when I visit somewhere in case I don't go back so do extensive research before I go so made a list of what we wanted to do while we were on the island. Emailed Norman a couple of months before with a question so he called me and went over the list with me and made suggestions. Upon arrival I handed him the list and he made all of the arrangements. We did 2 days of sailing which included the volcanoe, the Diamond Garden and Pigeon Point, 2 days on the beach at Marigot Bay, a delightful lunch at the Coalpot and the market in Castries, banana plantation, coco plantation (where we grafted a tree which we can go back and pick pods off it after 5 years plus made a candy bar from the coco beans), a day at Anse Cochan Beach, lobster at the jump up an Anse La Ray, a day of zip lining, and the rum factory. Norman drives you down to the village to start your activity. He always introduced you to your driver, sailboat captain, etc. and made sure you were going to be taken care of. All of the restaurants in the bay have his number and happily call him after your meal and he is usually waiting for you when you get to the pickup spot.

Besides the wonderful ambiance that Norman and Louise provided our room was good sized right by the pool with a bathroom with 2 showers and 2 sinks., there are chairs and a table outside of each room, and lawn chairs by the pool. The view down to the bay is absolutely beautiful. There is a patio where the guests gather each night to have a drink and watch the sunset. Two of the nights we had an impromtu wine party, one of them ending in sending out for pizza.

I highly recommend that you stay here. We had a wonderful time and hope to go back in the future.

Room Tip: We like the two rooms that we had by the pool because we are social people and like being able to ta...
